➹THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE➷

"Excuse me, Lorenzo," Alistair enquired politely from the passenger seat, his voice laced with curiosity. "Could you please inform me if we are nearing our destination? I am quite eager to experience the surprise you have planned for me." Lorenzo let out a soft chuckle as he made a right turn, heading towards a single-family detached house.

He drove up the road and parked his car in the spacious driveway. He turned off the ignition and unlocked the driver's door before courteously walking around to the other side and opening the passenger door for his husband.

Lorenzo extended his hand to Alistair in a polite manner, assisting him in exiting the vehicle. He then proceeded to close the door.

"We have arrived, my dear." Lorenzo walked behind Alistair and cautiously untied the knot that had secured the blindfold throughout their journey together.

Alistair gradually opened his eyes and winced slightly as the brilliant light reached them. He permitted his eyes to acclimate to his environment, and once they did, he let out a soft exclamation of astonishment.

"To whom does this residence belong?" Alistair enquired as Lorenzo stood beside him, gently placing his hand on his husband's hip.

"This is our property." Alistair was completely and utterly surprised. When did Lorenzo have time to purchase a house for them?

"At what point in time did you manage to acquire this property?" Lorenzo gently placed his index finger beneath his husband's chin and guided his head to face him.

I made the purchase seven months after you had welcomed me back, and during that time, I had considered other properties. However, none of them met our requirements, particularly since there will be five of us residing here now." Alistair was rendered speechless and expressed shock upon learning that there would be five occupants in this residence.

"Excuse me, but if there are going to be five people residing in this household, may I kindly enquire about the whereabouts of the other three individuals?" Alistair had barely finished posing this question when another vehicle arrived and came to a halt in the expansive driveway.

"Hello, everyone!" A woman exited the vehicle, and Alistair had to look twice to ensure he was not mistaken.

It was indeed Cordelia.

She was not the sole occupant of the vehicle, as shortly after her departure, Dante and Felix also disembarked.

Alistair counted the number of people who exited the car. He then respectfully came to the conclusion that they would be the remaining three people living with himself and his husband.

Although, he was quite far from the truth.

"Will they be residing with us?" Lorenzo gently shook his head and began chuckling softly.

"No, my dear. Those three people will be living with us." Lorenzo gestured towards the vehicle from which his brother, his brother's partner, and Alistair's cousin had emerged.

The side door was opened, revealing three car seats clearly visible.

"Please accompany me," Lorenzo gently took his husband's hand and guided him towards the vehicle.

Dante and Felix made their way to the rear of the vehicle to retrieve a stroller that could comfortably accommodate triplets.

"I apologise for my confusion, but could you kindly clarify whose children those are?" Everyone around Alistair chuckled lightly at his innocent enquiry.

"They are our children, my love." Alistair gasped and swiftly turned his head to the side to face Lorenzo, who wore an affectionate expression.

"Are you serious at this moment?" Lorenzo nodded and chuckled when Alistair leapt into his arms and wrapped his legs around his waist.

Meanwhile, Dante, Felix, and Cordelia were gently placing the triplets into the stroller.

"May we embark on a new chapter in our lives as a family of five? Does that notion resonate with you?" Alistair sniffed as he beamed at his husband while the other three expressed their delight at the couple's endearing display.

The commencement of their journey as a family of five marks a significant milestone in their lives. While they anticipate encountering numerous obstacles along the way, they remain steadfast in their commitment to fortifying their familial bonds and emerging stronger than ever before.

Regrettably, an unanticipated challenge arises in their path, leaving them perplexed about how to overcome it.
