Giovanni was able to rent a car and drive himself and his partner to the Eden Project. They were both very grateful for this opportunity. As they were driving down the road, they were unaware that a car had been following them since they rented the car at the Rent-A-Car place.

"I wonder what is on the radio?" Alistair enquired as he carefully adjusted the knob to find a channel that was not just static. After a patient search, he successfully found a suitable station.

"Last week, Vernon Ashbourne was found guilty of the first-degree murder of an elderly couple who reportedly owed him money. Despite repeated notices, the couple was unable to repay the debt. His court date is scheduled for next month, and he remains in custody until then." Alistair was astounded to learn the news but was not taken aback when he heard the name because it was not the first time Vernon Ashbourne had been found guilty.

Alistair turned off the radio and decided to take out his phone, click on Instagram to send a message to the group chat that had been sending numerous messages since yesterday.

Upon sending the message to the group chat, it was instantly visible to all recipients, with the exception of Giovanni, whose device was powered off due to his current engagement in driving.

Alistair chuckled upon receiving a humorous image from Lorenzo.

"Could you please tell me what you find amusing, my dear?" Giovanni enquired  as he brought the car to a halt in response to the red traffic signal.

Alistair respectfully showed his partner the meme that Lorenzo had shared in the group chat, which also elicited laughter from him.

"Lorenzo possesses a unique sense of humour," Giovanni remarked, and his partner promptly agreed.

"He will certainly make any person laugh until they can't laugh anymore, his future partner will certainly be fortunate to have him in their life." Giovanni agreed with the statement Alistair had mentioned.

"Undoubtedly." The traffic signal turned green and Giovanni continued to drive down the road on which they had been driving for quite some time.

They are still unaware that they are being followed, but they will soon discover it once they reach the roundabout in half an hour.
