➹THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE➷

After Cordelia advised Pierre and Alistair to depart from her residence, suggesting it would be the most beneficial course of action, Pierre proceeded directly to his preferred café. However, he now finds himself desiring a more potent beverage, leading him to seek out a random pub.

At this moment, he is seated at the counter with a beverage in his hand, his gaze fixed on a distant point. Pierre will politely explain that he did not have romantic feelings for Meredith when she expressed her affections for him. However, as their relationship progressed, he developed genuine feelings for her, even though he was also experiencing emotions for someone else.

The situation at hand appears to be quite intricate. Pierre gazed at his empty glass and let out a soft sigh before politely raising his hand to catch the attention of the bartender. He then made a courteous gesture, indicating his desire to place an order for another drink.

"Good day. How can I assist you?" Pierre thought for a while about the drink he desires before answering them.

"I would like to request an old-fashioned Irish whiskey on the rocks, please." The bartender gave a polite nod of understanding as they commenced the preparation of the requested beverage.

In a short span of time, the beverage was prepared and presented to Pierre. He politely offered them the payment and suggested that they keep hold of the remaining change.

Pierre politely requested another glass of whiskey from the bartender after finishing his first drink quickly. The bartender, recognizing Pierre's preference, began preparing the second drink without further enquiry.

"Here's your drink, sir." Pierre settled his drink bill, and as the bartender prepared to return his change, he courteously declined and gestured for the bartender to keep hold of it, as he had done on a previous occasion.

Pierre took his time with the drink, savouring each sip and allowing it to trickle down his throat at a leisurely pace. At that moment, he gently placed the glass down and retrieved his phone from his pocket.

He politely opened the messaging application and respectfully clicked on Meredith's contact in the hopes of requesting her to kindly listen to everything before she made a decision to leave him permanently.

Pierre gazed at the screen for a few minutes, his eyes fixated on her name. He was unaware that tears had begun to stream down his face until the bartender gently tapped him on the shoulder.

"Leave me alone, man." Pierre calmly explained to the bartender that he was experiencing a moment of frustration and did not intend to cause any offence with the words he selected. He reassured the bartender that his frustration was solely directed at himself and apologized for any misunderstanding.

The duration of time before Pierre consented to initiate a romantic relationship with Meredith, he was, in fact, romantically involved with another person. who he's still dating to this day. However, they are unaware of his actions of infidelity. 

At this time, he is left with no alternative but to disclose his activities of the past few years and subsequently make a decision regarding the continuation of his romantic engagements although if he is unable to make a decision, perhaps he can convince them to be in a polygamy relationship.
