Giovanni chose not to respond to the unfamiliar individual he had encountered on the train a few days prior. Instead, he made the decision to turn around and return to his room. However, his plan was interrupted when he felt the stranger's hand gently grasp his wrist, causing him to be pulled back.
"I would like to express my sincere apologies for interrupting your quiet reading time on the train. I acknowledge that my behaviour may have been perceived as bothersome, and I am actively working on self-improvement to become a more considerate and well-rounded individual as I have unfortunately lost people in my life due to certain aspects of my personality, I would like to express my sincere regret and take responsibility for my actions." Giovanni withdrew his arm and subtly rolled his eyes, indicating his mild irritation with the individual.
"Excuse me, but I must respectfully decline to engage in further conversation as I need to return to my room." The stranger interrupted Giovanni, causing him to pause in his actions.
