Today is Sunday and every black house hold knows what that means! CLEANING!! Unfortunately for me my kids can't seem to get the memo.
We do it every Sunday and they complain about it like this sh*t new to them. It don't make no sense how lazy they are.
"Get uppppp" I yelled down the hall.
Of course I got a bunch of groans in return. I went into every room knocking and opening curtains.
"Twinssss it's time to clean up"
"Mama noooo" they said in unison.
"Yesss come on get up"

"Sure do get up" I went over to rumi and rainy room.
"Rise and shine! Get up"
"Mom doesn't the Bible says Sunday is a day of REST"
"The Bible also says cleanliness is next to Godliness!" Either the Bible or SpongeBob.

"I don't know look it up when ya done cleaning"
"Mama I'm tireddd"
"So was Jesus! get up."
Rain groaned. She'll get over it. Now I gotta go wake up miss blue.
"Azul levantarse! Arriba! Vamonos!"

"Ughhh mommm my back hurts"
"Girl you are 15 why does your back hurt"

"Glad you asked! FAMILY MEETING" I yelled down the hall.
We all gathered in the living room while I assigned them tasks.
"Amir I want you to sweep, mop, and take out the trash"
"Eww I don't wanna touch yucky trash"
"Man up!" I hit him upside the head.

He went upstairs to do his job.
"Gigi clean the hall, the play room, and all the bathrooms"
"Ughh that's too much work mama!"
"You'll get over it"
"Rain do the laundry, the theater room, and pool"
She smacked her teeth and walked off just like her mother..
"Rumi clean the living room and the dining room"
"Why do I have to clean the big rooms!"
"Why do yall have to complain about everything. It's like a sport for you and your sister"
"Ugh!"
"Blue clean the kitchen and do it right! That means wash the dishes, put them up, clean the sink, wipe the counters, and take out any food we ain't eating"
"And what are you doing"
"Cleaning my office, yall rooms, and the closets"
"I guess" she walked off to the kitchen.
Whew that a bit easier than last Sunday. Of course I still had to check up on them and force them to clean with purpose.
"Amir no. You gotta put your back into it and move stuff!"
"My back hurts!"
"From what!??"
"I don't know school" he looked up at me.
I just sighed placing my hand over my face. These kids gon be the death of me!
I went to check on rumi next. Her and blue was downstairs arguing about something.
"Hey it's a lot of talking and not a lot of cleaning what's going on"
"Blue won't shut her stupid face"
Next thing I know a roll of paper towels flying past my face hitting rumi. This girl got aim. Rumi immediately ran over there.
"DONT THROW NOTHING AT ME"
"DO SUM"
"THROW SUM ELSE AND ILL HOP ACROSS THIS COUNTER"
"HOP AC-"
Instantly rumi hopped across throwing punching at blue while blue did the same. I jumped up trying to pull them apart they both was about to rip a chunk of hair out each other heads.
"GET OFF MY HAIR"
"GET OFF OF MY HAIR"
"I SAID" she kicked rumi. "GET THE F*CK OFF ME BRA"
"F*CK YOU"
"HEY HEY let go of each other"
They still held on so now I gotta put on my mama voice.
"NOW"
They both let go of each other.
"You two should not be fighting like this! Yall are sisters and yall in here fighting each other like yall sum random girls onna street that's not nice!"
"She should've never threw nothing"
"You should've never been talking trash that's how you get your a** beat!"
I hit her upside the head.
"Ima beat yo a** if you keep cussing in my house"
They both went silent.
"Now hug your sister and tell her you love her"
They both held mugs so I pushed them into each other. They hugged like they were trying to strangle each other but I guess.
"Now say you love her"
"Love you" they both mumbled walking off.
Whew! These kids are too much I'm scared to check on the other two. But of course I suddenly heard something big fall.
I blew my breath going up. Oh God please not today..
