[Name] noticed the familiar building with red bricks from afar.
The folder in their hands were a bit crumbled by their thight grip. All of the papers and evidences, which were nicely placed in the folder before, was now stuffed into it, having dog ears in every corner. The bag sat uncomfortable on [Name]'s back. Something was off about the backpack, but the kid was too lazy to check it, so they decided endure the pain during their trip.
As soon as their [e/c] eyes glazed upon the agency's building, a weird feeling took over [Name]. There was warmth in their stomach, a sign of feeling relieved, however their heart was beating faster. They were nervous about their encounter with Fukuzawa after a long time, but they couldn't wait for it to happen. They knew he is going to scold them. But atleast they get to see him again and tell him what actually happened.
They smiled and started running.
[Name] took large and fast steps. Nothing could have stopped them, not even the strangers on the streets. They accidentally knocked over a toddler too, but decided it's not the best moment to feel sorry for the child, so they yelled a quick "Pardon me!" and ran faster.
The kid didn't even stop at the red light, which resulted in multiple cars honking at them as they sprinted through the zebra crossing.

[Name] didn't run into any of the detectives, which was quite surprising, since it was worktime. Even Naomi was out and the clerks were out.
The agency was empty, and it was weird. [Name] has never seen it like this before. It was very unusual and surprisingly peaceful. It felt like they were here after the shift ended, after everybody went home. The only traces that it was still worktime were the opened windows and the lights that were accidentally left turned on, otherwise it would have seemed like an abandoned building.
[Name] shook their head to stop analyzing the place and knocked on Fukuzawa's door.
"Come in."
When the kid opened the door, they noticed Fukuzawa sitting at his desk. He didn't look up from his papers, whatever they were about, it seemed interesting enough to ignore their presence. There was also a map by his right hand, with crosses all around it.
He had circles under his eyes along with a tired expression. Fukuzawa didn't show any other signs whether he was tired or stressed, however the eyebags gave everything away.
[Name] felt relieved and happy they get to see him again, but as soon as they realized how tired he must be, the smile on their face froze and they bit their inner part of their lips instead.
"Have you got any clues about [Name]'s whereabouts?" Fukuzawa asked in a monotone voice, as if he asked this a million times during their absence.
Without saying a word, [Name] stepped forward to his desk, and then bypassed the table, now standing next to Fukuzawa. They waited for him to look up, but his eyes were still fixated on the papers ahead of him. The kid looked down at the documents, reading some of what was written in there. It was a bit hard to take out what was there due to his messy handwriting, but after reading the first sentence, [Name] got the hang of it.
'Last seen by strangers: waiting at XXX at around 9 am. Wore a dark blue t-shirt and black pants. Left the ashes of the letter in the trash can...'
Fukuzawa spoke up again, after noticing how the person didn't answer his question.
"Did you find anything?"
[Name] cleared their throat.
"Is this clue big enough...?" They pointed at themselves with a slight uncertain smile.
