"....this being said, it was confirmed from two completely different sources, that [Name] is from a different universe." Ranpo finished off his demonstration to the agency members.
All detectives gathered in the conference room to listen what the kid and Ranpo had to say. Needless to say, some of them were traumatized enough. All of this information dumping was very exhausting and challenging, so [Name] decided that it would be for the best to leave out the part, where they tell them their whole life was just for some 'manga'. All of the pain and suffering they went through just for entertainment.... the kid didn't want them to feel even worse.
But Ranpo had other ideas, so as soon as Fukuzawa and the kid leave, he will tell everyone everything.
After the meeting was over, Fukuzawa helped the kid pack the papers back in the folder. They were the first ones who exited the room. Yosano was also about to get up, but Ranpo turned to her.
"Y'all stay. We've got one more thing to discuss."
[Name] closed the door behind them.
"Is he going to tell the 'Bungou Stray Dogs' thing now?" Fukuzawa intrigued as they went down the stairs.
"Mhm." the kid nodded. "However, I still think we should have kept it among the three of us. Who knows if it will mess up something in the universe..."
"I have a different opinion about this."
"What?"
"It's better to get everyone involved, it'll be easier to work with. And for the other part, it would have already happened. As you said, the Mafia was the first one to discover this thing about a week ago, but everything still seems normal."
The man opened the door of the entrance and let [Name] exit first.
"You might be right...."
Both of them made their way to the man's house.
"I think you know it explains quite a lot of stuff. I mean, that you are not from this dimension." Fukuzawa turned to the child.
"This means, that they weren't my actual parents.... nothing was mine here, to begin with, but Tora's."

Back at Fukuzawa's place, [Name] was sitting on the couch and currently watched a specific toon about a yellow sponge and a starfish.
'I wonder if Spongebob exists in my universe too.... It's so weird hearing this as my actual thought.' they wondered.
The kid lay on their sides.
'It's so unsettling to think about this. There are multiverses where the roles are swapped. I wonder if there is a universe where the animals take the place of humans and vice versa. I wonder if a cat or a dog would own me.' [Name] shook their head as they realized their thoughts took a bizarre turn.
'It's so crazy that I got transported into an anime. Did I enjoy watching this show?... I think so. I was probably a fan. But why? Was the show this exciting? If so then... this journey is going to be eventful.'
The kid didn't really pay attention to their surroundings anymore. Their eyes got used to the brightness of the tv and the flashing lights coming from the cartoon. [Name] wouldn't have noticed the man standing infront them, if he wouldn't have turned off the television, making the bright screen disappear.
[Name] looked up at Fukuzawa who was holding a chess set in his hands.
"I haven't really got the chance, to teach you how to play chess." he said. "Do you want to sit down and learn now?"
