Kenji is a sweet boy and everyone knows that. He is kind, positive, and the solution for outcome B.

The teenagers made their ways on the roads of Yokohama, the blond holding a document of the deceased in his hands, while the other just walked by his side in silence. [Name] watched the city's daily happenings as if they have never been to Yokohama before. Observing the usual scene at the restaurants, schools and the playgrounds around them. Just as they were passing the latter, [Name] caught themselves staring at a family, who was just enjoying their free time.

"I have no idea, why the president decided I need to have someone to accompany me, but I'm happy I have someone by my side!" Kenji shot a quick smile to [Name].

"Who was the victim?" the kid took a glance at the boy, but then went back to their previous activity.

"A banker, if I am right." Kenji sighed. "I never really understood the importance of money. You could really just trade things! It's much easier!"

Both of them already passed the playground, so [Name] couldn't hurt their feelings by looking at the family anymore. They turned back to Kenji with a puzzled face, but after a moment of thinking it over, they spoke:

"Oh, yeah, right. You are from a village."

The blond boy didn't stop with the chatting. It was amusing for [Name] to hear all of the exciting stories Kenji shared about the village. How the locals dealt with the drought, how they barely needed the police's help, and apparently, he mentioned something about a cow named Hanako in the agency. He always had a bright smile on his face as he told the stories. He never really mentioned anything about [Name]'s parents, however, the kid was sure Fukuzawa told him what happened. Kenji never really gave the chance to let them even think about it either. He just went on and on about silly topics, asking [Name] about their opinion and personal experiences, so they were always deep in the conversation.

Looking back at it, the kid was really grateful for the boy's actions, even if it was unintentional.

Soon enough, they arrived to the crime scene, which was an apartment, in this case.

Kenji's voice slowly faded, but the optimistic look on his face did not. He went around the policemen before he would start the investigation. [Name] could barely keep up with the boy. Kenji greeted all of the officers with a positive smile, which was unsettling, if we consider someone just got brutally murdered.

"Ah, you are here." Minoura acknowledged the young fellas.

"'afternoon." the kid greeted him with a straight face. The man glanced at Kenji for an explanation, but the boy just brushed it off.

All three of them walked over to the dead body. It was a young man, probably in his twenties. He was wearing a dark grey tuxedo, which was now covered in dried blood. The gel in his blond hair could barely hold up by now, strands of hair sticking out. His head leaned back in a concerning angle. A wide and very deep cut in his neck was visible, causing the previously mentioned deformation. His mouth was open, the eyes rolled back and the muscles around his neck already started to stiffen.

The red liquid was spread all over the floor: under the corpse, around the corpse and on random places of the room. The last two being present in the shapes of bare footsteps. A glass was shattered by the dead person. Wine was stored in the cup previously, red, if we want to be exact. One of the identical glass was also on the table, but it was left untouched.

"Any ideas?" Minoura asked when he tought he gave both of them enough time to examine things.

"The footsteps doesn't really make any sense..." Kenji wondered out loud. "It's everywhere! It looks like the culprit panicked... Like from the body to the window to the table to the body again, the bed and it ends in the bathroom."
