The end of the gun's were cold. [Name] was held gunpoint before, they exactly knew how it felt like, but having two pistols pushed against their temples at the same time was just a bit more overwhelming.

The kid analyzed the two men's facial expression from the corner of their eyes. On their left, the split haired Sigma's gaze almost pierced through [Name], like how the bullets would any moment from now on. His posture was stiff, his grip around the trigger alert, ready to pull it. Sigma showed no fear, no sign of backing up, only pure commitment.

[Name] looked at the clown lookalike. Nikolai was smiling. Grinning. His head was tilted to his left, enjoying the kid's misery.

And they could only guess on how Fyodor reacted to his victory, but they didn't want to see his filthy face, so they didn't turn around, and didn't imagine his face infront of them.

It felt like the time froze. It felt like everyone stopped moving, everyone stopped thinking, though in real life nothing unordinary happened. It just felt like it to the kid.

They felt like they had time to think. To imagine what the afterlife would be like.

A scene played infront of [Name]'s eyes. They clearly saw and heard as both men on their sides pulled the trigger at the same time. The kid could feel as the bullets go through their head, going in from where the trigger was pulled, and ending near the other man on the other side, trespassing their brain and only leaving a gruesome hole behind. [Name]'s blood splashed on Nikolai's face, bringing out his pale face as the dark red liquid drips down his chin, while Sigma tried to dodge the kid's inner parts, as he didn't want to get dirtied.

[Name] fell on their knees, their eyes wide open while a handful of blood ran down from their nose and mouth. Their head hit the ground. Everything was blurry. And painful.

Is this what dying would feel like?

Fukuzawa would probably be their last thought before officially seeing the afterlife.

The kid couldn't tell him how grateful they are for him. How much they appreciate his tryings, how happy they felt during the chess practices... How ironic, [Name] promised him once again, that they'll be careful. That they'll stick with Yosano and Tanizaki. That they'll text him once in a while, to reassure him everything is okay.

Fukuzawa is really worried by now, [Name] is sure. Maybe he is already debating whether they are still alive.

Who would've thought, that they are going get backstabbed and killed today, burying Dostoevsky's secrets along with their corpse? Of course, Dostoevsky and the other two. It was all their plan.

Oh, that annoying russian. He always had to turn out to be the winner, it's unfair.

Would the kid end up in hell or heaven? They surely weren't that bad, but they had regretted some things they have done. They couldn't decide whether they were a bad or a decent person. Something in between? If they had lived for longer they could've done more good deeds and become a better person. However, they didn't. They are left with what they are now, and can't change it anymore.

Though, Dostoevsky's victory isn't full yet, as [Name] is still alive. Not for long, but still breathing without any holes drilled through their head.

"Fire." Dostoevsky commanded from the room.

Yeah, it's over now, the kid thought.

Goodbye, Fukuzawa, goodbye, agency, fuck you, Dostoevsky, and goodbye, living human beings!

Before [Name] could get their brains blown out, something shook the entire Casino, which is a big achievement, considering how large it is.

Nikolai kept his gun in hand as he leaned against the wall for support, since his legs didn't seem to do the job perfectly, meanwhile Sigma dropped the pistol, trying to stay standing. The kid fell to their knees, due that they had nothing near them to hold onto, or to use as support. Even Dostoevsky had to grab the side of the table, because he did not expect the sudden shook either.
