The finals

"Vivianne, my question is for you."

Vivianne folds her hands on the table as she sits beside Sarina for the press conference before the finals and nods her head with a kind smile. "You are currently the top scorer of the Euros, with what mindset did you enter this tournament?"

"Well we all have our focus on winning the Euros in our country," Viv replies. "I enter every match and tournament with the same mindset, play hard, fair and give everything." She adds. "Behind me being the top scorer of this tournament, we have Lieke Martens being the top assist giver." She continues. "Football is a team sport and we all entered the tournament with the same mindset, aside from that we also want to pull more attention to the women's soccer world and we hope we succeed."

She takes a sip of her water as the journalist nods her head and turns to Sarina listening to her respond to a question regarding the formation. "My next question is for you, Vivianne." She nods her head as the same journalist turns to her and smiles kindly. "Your final opponent is Denmark, what are your thoughts?"

"On the match or on the team?" Viv asks curiously.

"Both?"

"Well it will be a head-to-head match, we played them before and the match ended in a tie so we know we have to give everything." Viv starts. "As for the team, Denmark has some very talented players and a very strong team." She continues. "We all used the week break to prepare and are ready to hit the pitch and give everything."

"Thank you."

Viv nods her head standing up after the organizer told them the conference is over and follows Sarina into the building, she runs a hand through her hair as they walk to the dressing rooms and sighs. "Well, the questions were alright today." She chuckles as Sarina hums in agreement and grabs her captain band. "I will join the girls, anything important that I have to focus on during warm up."

"Sprints," Sarina tells her. "Arjan and I will join soon."

Vivianne nods her head and jogs out of the dressing room after sliding on her cleats, she jogs down the long hall to the exit and skips to the sidelines. She smiles as she hears Theo's excited voice as soon as he spots her, jogging over to him as she notices Beth sitting crouched down behind him and looks around searching for Le. "Hey, you two." She murmurs as she crouches down in front of Theo. "Where is Le?"

"Grabbing a drink for all of us. "Beth breathes watching her son just cuddle into Viv's arms with a happy grin. "How was the conference?"

"I think they knew they couldn't break my focus, so I only received easy questions," Viv replies chuckling, she glances down at the captain band and holds it out for Beth. "Sar had to go over some tactic ideas, can you help me?"

"Of course," Beth murmurs as she kneels in front of Viv instead of crouching down, she slides the band up Viv's arm and fastens it. "Too tight?" She smiles as Viv shakes her head and glances behind her as she hears fans cheer loudly. "Denmark just entered the pitch."

"I know it's time to warm up." Viv breathes as she ruffles Theo's hair.

"Have fun and good luck Vivi." Beth breathe.

"Yes! Good luck Vivi." Theo breaths out with a big adorable grin, Viv stands up after thanking them, smiling as Leah walks over right before she jogs off and jogs past her kissing her cheek as tells her to have fun.

She sprints over to the girls high fiving Pernille Harder as she jogs past her and bumps the ball Jill passes to her up, she kicks it towards the box with a Volley as she notices Lieke sprinting forward and laughs as she changes direction of the ball shortly before Daphne catches it.
