As Yoongi carried Taehyung to their room, a heaviness settled in the air of the dorm. Jimin watched them leave, his expression unreadable, but a flicker of jealousy lingered beneath the surface. He couldn't quite pinpoint the source of his discomfort – was it because of Taehyung's distress, or was it something else entirely?

Lost in his thoughts, Jimin remained in the living room, his mind swirling with conflicting emotions. On one hand, he felt genuine concern for Taehyung, knowing firsthand the pain of losing a beloved pet. On the other hand, there was a lingering sense of envy that gnawed at him – envy of the attention Yoongi showered on Taehyung, the way he held him close and whispered words of comfort.

As Jimin wrestled with his feelings, the other members dispersed, each retreating to their respective rooms for the night. Alone in the quiet of the dorm, Jimin couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over him like a heavy cloak.

He wandered aimlessly through the dimly lit corridors, his footsteps echoing softly against the walls. Memories of Yoongi flashed through his mind – the way Yoongi's smile lit up the room, the sound of his laughter that never failed to lift Jimin's spirits.

But alongside those memories, there was a twinge of longing – a longing for something more, something that seemed just out of reach. Jimin pushed aside those thoughts, chiding himself for his selfishness. After all, Yoongi was his friend, his bandmate – nothing more.

Yet, try as he might, Jimin couldn't deny the pang of jealousy that twisted in his chest whenever he saw Yoongi and Taehyung together. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to have Yoongi's undivided attention, to be the one Yoongi turned to in times of need.

Lost in his reverie, Jimin found himself standing outside Yoongi and Taehyung's room, his heart pounding in his chest. He hesitated for a moment, his hand hovering over the door handle, before finally mustering the courage to push it open.

The room was bathed in soft moonlight, casting shadows across the walls. Yoongi sat by Taehyung's side, his fingers gently brushing through Taehyung's hair as he slept. There was an intimacy in the way Yoongi looked at Taehyung – a tenderness that Jimin couldn't help but envy.

Yoongi glanced up as Jimin entered the room, his expression softening with surprise. "Jimin? Is everything okay?"

Jimin forced a smile, trying to mask the turmoil that churned within him. "Yeah, I just... I couldn't sleep. I wanted to check on Tae."

Yoongi nodded understandingly, gesturing for Jimin to join them. "Of course. He's sleeping peacefully now. Hopefully, he'll feel better when he wakes up."

Jimin approached the bed hesitantly, his eyes lingering on Taehyung's serene expression. He felt a pang of guilt for his earlier jealousy – Taehyung was hurting, and all Jimin could think about was himself.

Yoongi patted the space beside him, offering Jimin a small smile. "Come sit with us. Maybe it'll help you relax."

Reluctantly, Jimin took a seat beside Yoongi, the warmth of Yoongi's presence comforting yet unsettling. He couldn't shake the feeling of being on the outside looking in – a bystander to Yoongi and Taehyung's unspoken bond.

As they sat in silence, Yoongi's hand found its way to Jimin's shoulder, a silent gesture of reassurance. Jimin's heart skipped a beat at the contact, a rush of emotions flooding through him – longing, desire, and a twinge of sadness.

But amidst the turmoil of his emotions, there was also a flicker of hope – hope that maybe, just maybe, there was a place for him in Yoongi's heart too. As he watched Yoongi and Taehyung sleep peacefully beside him, Jimin closed his eyes and allowed himself to dream of a future where he wasn't just Yoongi's friend, but something more. But he couldn't find sleep any way closer to him.

The night stretched on, enveloping the dorm in a blanket of quietude. Jimin sat in the dimly lit room, his thoughts consumed by a whirlwind of emotions. Beside him, Yoongi and Taehyung slept soundly, their breathing steady and rhythmic.

But despite the tranquility of the moment, Jimin couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at him from within. His gaze flickered between Yoongi and Taehyung, their peaceful expressions a stark contrast to the turmoil in his own heart.

He couldn't deny the pang of jealousy that twisted in his chest every time he saw Yoongi's gentle interactions with Taehyung. It was irrational, he knew, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of longing – a longing for the kind of closeness that Yoongi shared with Taehyung.

As the minutes stretched into hours, Jimin found himself lost in a sea of uncertainty. He couldn't suppress the thoughts that tugged at the corners of his mind – thoughts of what could be, what might have been, if only things were different.

But reality crashed over him like a tidal wave, washing away the fleeting fantasies that had taken root in his heart. Yoongi and Taehyung were more than just friends – they were confidants, companions, perhaps even something more. And try as he might, Jimin couldn't compete with the bond they shared.

A sigh escaped Jimin's lips as he leaned back against the wall, his eyes drifting shut in resignation. He knew that he couldn't continue down this path of self-doubt and jealousy – it would only lead to more heartache in the end.

With a heavy heart, Jimin rose from his seat, casting one last glance at Yoongi and Taehyung before slipping out of the room. He needed time to sort through his feelings, to come to terms with the reality of the situation.

As he wandered the empty corridors of the dorm, the weight of his emotions lifted ever so slightly. In the stillness of the night, Jimin found solace – solace in the knowledge that he wasn't alone, that he had friends who cared for him deeply, even if they couldn't fill the void in his heart.

And as dawn broke on the horizon, casting a soft glow over the world outside, Jimin made a silent vow to himself – a vow to cherish the moments he shared with Yoongi and Taehyung, to be grateful for the love and friendship that surrounded him, even if it wasn't exactly what he had hoped for.

For in the end, Jimin knew that true happiness lay not in the pursuit of what could've been, but in the acceptance of what is. And with that thought in mind, he faced the new day with renewed determination, ready to embrace whatever the future held, with open arms and an open heart.
