"Endeavor, do you have a moment?" The door cracked open, waking Endeavor up at the sound of her guest. She turned back over her shoulder, away from the plans on her desk to see a young man standing in her doorway. For a moment, she was much younger. A smile broke out over her face before realization caught up to her.

So much like his grandfather, she thought as she motioned to the young man to join her. "Yes, Faron, how can I help?"

"Lady Impa would like to see you, when you have time," the prince replied, a little too quickly as he twisted his right hand around his left fingers. Nervous, the prince had always been nervous around her. As had his grandfather, when they'd first met.

Endeavor nodded, turning back to the notes on her desk. Plans were spread across it haphazardly. Endeavor had never gotten used to the small quarters in Hyrule Castle since she had moved, but she was one to keep her secrets. These last details for her library were hers, only one other copy existed, passed on to her daughter a few weeks prior. Impa could wait. Their rivalry had grown more civil over the last eighty years, but it had never gone away. This could remain with the Drex.

"Endeavor?" Faron asked, leaning over the back of Endeavor's chair.

Swatting him back, Endeavor fussed, "Back a step, back a step. I am old, not senile."

"My apologies," Faron corrected, a little too courtly for his grandfather. Endeavor chuckled and shook her head while Faron stepped to the side to get her attention again. "About Lady Impa?"

Endeavor shooed him away as she collected her notes, the ones she would share. "I will be there."

"Do you need any help?"

She shook her head, shooing him yet again. This time Faron did leave, closing the door behind him.

She waited for a moment, as the steps disappeared, before slowly rising. Joints popped as she rose, and she had to acknowledge for a moment her age with frustration. She leaned over her desk to look out the window of her chambers where it faced the courtyard.

Distantly, she saw the steeple of the new Temple of Time rising in the middle of Castle Town. When the repairs of the city had been completed, then Queen Zelda had called for its construction. The new Temple shared the style of the original, though there were a few new features. Many Endeavor had helped plan as well, their details one of her few remaining secrets.

Beyond, she could see the Hero's Shrine. A new statue had been constructed there to honor the Hero of the Convergence. After he had passed though, Endeavor found it hard to look on it. Shortly after, she pulled herself away from the window.

"You have done incredible work, My champion."

A bottle clattered to the floor, shattering. There was a great scrapping of wood as Endeavor turned herself around, her eyes growing wide at the sight. So awed, she didn't notice how her chest grew lighter as she looked up at her Goddess.

"Lady Reechka," Endeavor said, dropping to a knee and bowing, not pausing to notice the ease she had in the motion.

A hand rested under her chin and lifted it. Reechka offered her a gentle smile, before extending a hand. "Come with Me."

Endeavor rose as easily as she had in her youth. She took the Goddess's hand and they walked on, leaving her chamber behind. She never looked back to see the mess she had left poor Faron to come and collect.

A sea of white filled Endeavor's sight. And yet, near the Goddess, it did not feel so vast. After a while, Endeavor turned to look up at Reechka. "Where are we, my Lady?"
