LYE'S POV:

I refused to let Allia be bait again. I knew the word used was distraction, but it felt like I was feeding a lion some meat. I trusted her but I didn't trust anyone else as far as I could throw them. That's why I still allowed her to come on the mission, I mean as worried as I was she wanted to be part of the organisation and who was I to stop her? She was the love of my life and I simply wanted to keep her happy.

Talking about the love of my life another one was walking over to me right this moment. "Darling" she whispered, kissing my cheek. Max and I had been together for years, she was there when I had no one else and she was very protective over me. Maybe a little too protective, but deep down I loved it, it made me know that she cared.

"How are you my love?" I asked, watching her every movement.

The mission for today was to steal back some money from a debtor, usually we would just threaten them but this person was too big in business and had way too many security guards. Why did they need money then? Because he took it long before he had his empire, and now the greedy bastard refused to pay us back.

"As I usually am" she answered. She was almost as closed off as I was, if not more, so when people asked how she was she would rarely answer unless she needed help with something.

"You ready?" I didn't know if anyone could be ready for this. Ready to risk their lives, ready to threaten someone that was technically even more powerful than we were. But if I was to be the future ruler of the organisation, I had to show that I was worthy. And a part of me also wanted to prove to my family that I could be worthy enough.

My family was everything to me, especially my mum, so I wanted to make them proud. And part of making them proud was showing that I could rule well and would put the organisation first before anything else.

"Of course. I always am" Max stated. I knew she wanted to become queen of the organisation, possibly even more than Allia did. But both had different reasons, Max wanted to become so because it came with power and power made her feel good, it made her feel important and made her feel that she could prove something to herself.

Allia however wanted to become so because she liked the idea of being able to look after everyone, similar to how a Luna would look after her pack. She wanted to show the world that psychopaths could become one big family that looked after each other, she was crazy over the fact of wanting to prove to the world that being insane wasn't a bad thing.

"I know my queen, I was just checking that's all" I replied softly, gently kissing her.

As we walked further into the house we were to steal from there was guards in every corner. I suppose I was lucky that Eveline and Mia had the best ways of distracting them and their methods always worked. I trusted Eveline and Mia with my life, Mia was like a little sister to me and Eveline was one of my closest friends who I trusted more than anything.

"I trust that you've put all your faith in Eveline and Mia again?" Max more stated it then asked the question. I loved her but she could easily get jealous and jealousy was an emotion I didn't like at all.

"You know they've proven their worth my dear." I stated my reply almost the exact way that she did.

"Hm. And what I haven't?" Max looked at me, daring me to answer. It was too bad for her that I didn't take people daring me too lightly.

"You know you have. Would I be with you if you hadn't? But you also know that their the best at missions. They've been trained their whole life" I tried to reason with her, but reasoning with her was one of the most difficult things in the world. When she had her mind set that was pretty much it, sometimes it was a good thing but other times, times like this, it was infuriating.

"Hm." She refused to continue on with the conversation and instead stared straight ahead "are we going to do this or not?" Maybe some would be annoyed that she refused to apologise, but her silence showed me that she knew deep down that she was wrong. Truthfully that was enough for me, knowing that somewhere she had a sense of remorse, she just refused to show it.

Eventually the guards were distracted enough and the rest of managed to sneak our way into the room with the safe. Allia had managed to find out the code somehow, which honestly I didn't know how she did but something deep down told me that Masky or Shaun helped her. My memory of what Masky had told me came to mind, how him and Shaun could easily find out things, I mean apparently Shaun could find out what someone's WiFi was easily just for fun so who knew what else they could do. Truthfully it was kind of impressive.

Everything seemed to be going perfectly, that was until at least 30 men were holding guns as soon as we turned around.

"Look what we have here" a males voice was to be heard and my blood boiled at it. The nerve he had to act like we were the ones in the wrong, when truly we were just stealing back what belonged to us.

"Don't be so prideful Walker. You of all people shouldn't be." I glared, waiting for the right moment to signal to the others to get out their guns.

"And why is that Gray? Still but hurt over the fact that you can't borrow money from me?" He laughed, I suppose he didn't want to say the truth around his men. Too bad I always had proof for everything, a back up plan everyone should always have.

Pressing a single button, the voice recording between the both of us played through loud speakers, confessing everything.

"Turn that shit off!" He yelled, clearly annoyed, which made me grin a little. Good, he should be annoyed. He should feel the guilt of all he did.

"So Walker what will it be. Will you hand over the money, or we will have to kill you in front of all your men" at the moment I gave the signal to the others, all of them pulling out the weapons and Max putting a gun to his head.

"Choose Mr Venti. What shall it be?" Max spoke to him "we've already caught you, you might as well give us the money and we won't speak a word of this"

"Fine. Take it and get out. I don't ever want to see your face again." He said it like he had power over us, but deep down he knew he didn't. Handing over the money to Max, he turned away from us.

It made me laugh that he thought he would truly be able to escape from all of this, maybe if he had given it to us earlier he would have, but we had given him 5 warnings, 4 too many, and I had to prove a point. Shooting him in the head with no remorse, I walked out, glad today was over and really just needing a cigarette to calm down and maybe a kiss from the three loves of my life.
