We walked further into the forest, unable to get the lady's words out of our heads. Was she right? With the trees seemingly telling us to turn around and leave, I didn't doubt much of it. My breath seemed hitched in my throat and my mind felt clouded with worries. Was we really gonna do this? Should we be doing this? I almost tried to scream at them to turn around, to forget this place ever existed.

Eventually we arrived at the house that the lady told us about. The house that was apparently haunted with ghosts. It didn't take much to believe it from how broken down the house seemed. Most of the windows were shattered, people had clearly come here to do spray paint but none of the art seemed finished, the door no longer existed and an old tree with a rope swing was in the garden, swinging softly with the wind. Truthfully everything felt like we were in the conjuring movie or something like it.

"Are we sure about this?" Flora said nervously, clinging onto Masky's hand like her life depended on it. Maybe it did.

"We'll be fine, plus it seems fun" Blade stated, Liver seemingly already exploring the garden.

"But what if the story the lady told us is true?" Summer tried to protest, stating a worry i had too.

"They say the girl was killed by her own parents. But no one's ever quite sure. All they know is she haunts that house 'till that day and loves to pull tricks on the non-believers"

I suppose it was good that we knew we all seemed to believe. My only issue was i believed in almost every ghost story, even my own that i made up myself. Maybe it was because of my experiences, or maybe it was simply because i took comfort in ghosts. Whichever it was, it was always more difficult to make me not believe in it than it was to make me believe. Maybe most people would simply call me naive, but i would say that any ghost story that isn't proven to be fake, should automatically be believed in.

"I mean at least we've always been talking about doing something like this together. I wonder how old the little girl was" Shaun stated, making me feel less alone with my way of thinking. Truthfully it was one of the reasons i loved them, they helped me feel less insane.

Hearing something, we all turned around terrified. "What was that?" Summer seemed like she was practically about to scream and run off, making me want to go over to her and tell her everything would be fine. I hated that i couldn't comfort her more.

"Just a rabbit i think" Blade stated, pointing over to where a rabbit was.

"Thanks for stating the obvious, we were really struggling there" Shaun stated sarcastically, a way they would deal with things.

"I'm not so sure" Flora whispered.

"Don't worry baby girl, i'll protect you ok?" Masky tried  reassuring her,

"Aren't you emo anyway, shouldn't you love this kinda thing?" Liver stated, making Fern give him death glares.

"Goth. And i enjoy it but that doesn't mean i'm not scared" Flora stated, rolling her eyes a little.

"Should we just get on with this investigation, i'm pretty excited to see what there could be" Lye suggested, making the air a little less tense.

Finding a room to sit in, we brought out our equipment and set them up. Masky sitting next to Flora to comfort her and Creed sitting next to Summer, the rest of us seemed pretty eager to find out.

As we started the investigation, nothing much seemed to happen, bringing most of us a little disappointment. That was until the massive creak. The creak that sent shivers down our spine. That made us feel watched. That made the hairs on the back of our neck stand up.

"I'm sure it's just another animal" Blade tried to reassure us, but he didn't sound as confident about it as he did earlier.

"Maybe we could get a tigger object? Look for something that might've been from back then or something?" Lye asked, making us agree as it seemed like the best plan to get any ghosts to talk to us.

Going with Shaun to one of the rooms, he looked at me with a knowing look.

"Speak." He commanded.

"About what?" I tried to make it seem like i didn't know what he was talking about but all he did was give me another look.

"Fine..me and Creed might've kissed" I stated, looking away from him.

"What? Bestie i love you and all but are you sure that was the right decision to make?" he seemed more concerned than judgemental, clearly knowing how much my relationship with Lye and Sadie meant to me.

"I'm not sure and i don't know what to do about it" I confessed, knowing that if they could help me they would and i needed all the help i could get right now.

"How many times and was there anymore than kissing?" he asked, looking around the room for some trigger object.

"twice.." i answered, trying to look too and coming across some old box.

Opening the box i saw a couple of photos and decided to show them to Shaun, making him nod and having us take them back to the group.

"And yes" i answered the second part of his question, feeling nervous at what he would react with.

"bestie, i mean this in the kindest way, but you are fucked" they weren't wrong. All i could really think about doing was avoiding Creed, but that was pretty difficult to do with him being my boyfriend's best friend. Hence the entire problem of the situation.

What if he told Lye? What if Lye and  Sadie find out? Would they leave me immedietally or would they give me time to explain myself? Truthfully i was terrified of it, but i knew that i didn't want them finding out from anyone else so eventually i would have to tell them myself.

"We found these photos" Shaun stated, placing them on the floor in front of all of us. As we started to look at them, a weird feeling from them came across, i just couldn't tell what it was.

And it was too late to try and see because the words 'Run' written in blood were on the wall and all we could hear was a distant scream, making our hearts practically beat out of our chest in fear. We needed to get out of here and now.
