JUNGKOOK

It's been two weeks since that event. There isn't much going on. We did some pre-recordings and everyone has been busy with their lives. It's the weekend and Krystle has invited us for lunch. We're sitting in the living room. It's been an hour since we've been here, everyone is talking about random things and I was sitting a bit away from them on the floor while Aera was playing with the toys on the ground. There are three reasons behind it, One, she's my little baby, Two, I don't want to talk, Three, my mind was somewhere else, or I can say wondering about someone.

Krystle said she has an important announcement but if that's the case then why y/n isn't here? I've not seen her since then but I can feel that there's something going on between her and Krystle. It's as if they've been distant lately but I know how y/n reacts. It's definitely not the case. I feel like Krystle has been ignoring her. I don't really think she even invited her today.

"Kookie uncle, you look sad" My gaze travelled to her, her doe eyes gazing into mine, her brows furrowed as she pouted.

"I look sad?" My eyes narrowed.

She nodded getting up and walking towards me, "you're sad, Kookie uncle"

I held her in my arms. She settled on my lap, "I'm not sad"

"you're lying, Kookie uncle" She looked up at me.

I chuckled ruffling her hair, "Okay so tell me, why do you think I'm sad?"

"You've big eyes when you're happy" She pouted.

I laughed, "I've big eyes when I'm happy?"

She nodded. I shook my head grinning. Suddenly she wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me. Her tiny palms playing circles on my back.

"I love you Kookie Uncle, Don't be sad please"

She pulled away, I caressed her cheeks, "I'm happy now, okay baby?"

She grinned nodding.

"Jungkook!" My gaze drifted to Sara as she called me, "Come here"

I stood up walking towards them as I took a seat beside Eva. I looked at Krystle, she and Jack made eye contact and she nodded.

I reached for the water bottle taking a sip of water, feeling the cool liquid slide down my throat. I paused, my eyes fixed on him, wondering what the announcement could be.

Just as I was about to swallow Jack spoke up, "Krystle and I are getting married"

My water went down the wrong pipe, and I choked, sputtering and coughing. My eyes watered, and I frantically grabbed a napkin from the table to cover my mouth.

Everyone turned to me, concerned. "Hey, are you okay?" Eva asked, patting me on the back.

I nodded, still coughing, and managed to gasp out, "Yeah... just... surprised."

I still tried to process the shocking news. Jack and Krystle? They both never got along. Then how?! And getting married?! Seriously?! You got to be kidding me!

I gulped, my thoughts travelling back to y/n. Does she know about all these? Does she know what's going on without her presence?

Everyone congratulated them, I took a deep breath before smiling and congratulating them.
