Y/N

How weird isn't it? Being at the same place as your loved ones, being among them but stopping yourself from looking at them? If the situations weren't like this, I wouldn't have done that. Well, I wouldn't have run away in the first place. It'd be a whole lie if I say I didn't try to glance at them. It took my everything not to stop right there, run and hugged them as if my whole life depends on them. And maybe.. it does actually.

Honestly, I wasn't thinking Hazel would show up. She never did in the past, when I was there for three years. We both knew each other or more likely she knew everything about me while I knew nothing but a girl named Hazel, who's Krystle's sister exists. And yes, this is the first time I'm seeing her.

Her presence was magnetic, an undeniable force. If people say I'm the most beautiful woman they've ever seen then they haven't met Krystle yet and if they say Krystle's the most beautiful woman they've ever seen then they haven't met Hazel yet.

"Haze!" Krystle held her wrist when we got out of the hall and I stood a little away from them. Hazel halted but didn't glance at her.

"Why?" Krystle asked, her voice barely audible. "Why did you do it Haze?"

Hazel glanced at her hand, her gaze lingering there for a moment before travelling to her eyes.

Krystle glanced at her hand before meeting her gaze "I won't leave it, not until you tell me why"

Hazel exhaled before facing her completely, her voice calm. "You brought outsiders in the brotherhood. You made me hide her, you broke the rules, you did the things no one's allowed to."

"But-"

"Interrupting me isn't allowed!" Hazel's voice got louder.

Krystle breathed heavily but didn't reply. Hazel observed her before speaking, "Watch your actions Krystle"

"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!! I DIDN'T BRING HER, SHE CAME BY HERSELF!!" Krystle shouted and I could see her eyes watering but she didn't let the tears flow.

"You did everything! You could've stopped her. You had all the rights to stop it. But you didn't..." Her voice rose but there was calmness. She removed her hand from her arms before continuing, "You could've Krystle, but you didn't. Because you wanted her to come. You were so alone there that you wanted someone to barge, to break everything and get in. Because you can't do that yourself. You can't deal with everything yourself only."

Krystle gritted her teeth, her hands in fists as the tears flew down her cheeks.

Hazel looked at me or more likely glared at me. She spoke looking in between us "You both have no difference"

"One.." She stared at Krystle before continuing, "Who's afraid to walk on her own path because she's alone with no way between"

"And two.." She looked at me before continuing, "Who's running away because she's afraid that she'd hurt Billions of hearts forgetting the fact that she hurt that one heart who gave reasons to those Billions to live and love themselves"

She looked in between before continuing, her words a venom to my ears, "You both don't know how to deal with life, how to walk on your own path. Running away is the only solution you have in your life. Pathetic you both!"

Her eyes, deep and enigmatic, held a captivating intensity that seemed to pierce through my soul. I gulped, my mind wondering in between the same voice and same hatred. My head started spinning as I took her words, I've heard these somewhere. I don't know where but I have. My mind was filled with unknown voices and hatred as I fell down on my knees, my hands covering my ears, tears streaming down my cheeks as I tried to stop those voices.
