Dress shopping

The next day Me, Leah and Sophie head out to go shopping for our dresses, well it was just the three of us until Calix caught us leaving without anyone to guard me. This will get annoying.

We walk in and the girls are immediately drawn to a dress hanging on the wall

"Oh wow this is beautiful" Sophie holds it out to show us

"Its really pretty"

I let them look while I go straight to the counter, I had ordered a dress a few days ago knowing I need to look my best, need to give them as little as possible to fault me on when ill have a lot of the Jujutsu society watching me get my title as head of the Uchuu clan officially given.

"Excuse me I have an order under Latoya" I say leaning over the counter

"One moment" She gets up and heads to the back room.

She comes back a few minutes later with a black bag

"Here you are miss"

"Thankyou" I take the order and look to Leah and Sophie

Sophie is talking to Calix While shoving dresses in his arms to carry that she wants to try on, well they seem to be getting on well.

"Hey guys ill just go and get changed" I tell them

"Ok we will be here" Leah goes back to looking at the dresses

I find a booth and head inside, I change into the dress.

Its a beautiful dress

The top is a corset fit with a square neckline, there are two layers of skirts one that's tighter fitting that has a slit and the top skirt is a half skirt drags behind leaving the front uncovered , the colour is a mix of purple, pink and blue like my eyes. The coreset has some chains along it.

It fits perfect.

I head out the booth and show the girls.

"Oh wow that looks amazing" Leah and Sophie say

"You look beautiful"

"Isn't it a bit too much" I bite my lip

"No its perfect, you need to look like the powerful woman you are" Sophie says

"Yeah, they need to know what their getting into" Leah nods

"Thankyou" I smile, its great having friends who are so supportive.

I get changed and then help Leah and Sophie with there dresses.

Leah ends up with a Sage green satin dress with a corset top too and a slit.

Sophie ends up with a deep red dress made of velvet that rises to her neck, it has a slit on the cleavage. It fits tight around her body fitting her figure perfectly.

We end up with bags each of dresses and shoes and head out the shop, its nearly dark outside and I head back to the school with Calix, Leah and Sophie head to the hotel they are staying at for the night.

"So have you spoken to any of them yet?" Calix asks as we are walking

"No"

"Maybe you should, I have noticed their mood change since you hadn't spoke to them"

"Ill sort it out after the party" I sigh, I need to focus on this party not going wrong, I just need to get officially announced and given the Uchuu head name, keep calm and then leave the party.

We arrive at the dorms and I head to my room.

I lay the dresses out on the bed, I can feel a headache coming, I really wish this was over.

The day of the party comes, I go to Leah and Sophies hotel early with Yaga to get ready. Yaga wants to go over some things with me before the event.

I'm sat in the Hotel restaurant eating lunch with Yaga, He sighs.

"I need to go over some important things to remember at this party" He looks into my eyes to make sure I'm listing.

"When you enter the room you must stay calm. You will be the head of one of the most powerful family's in jujutsu history you need to stand your ground."

I nod along keeping note in my head

"When you enter you need to walk right up to stage where you will see the lady you met at the Uchuu land, There will also be a table where the head of the 3 major clans will be sat, You will stand up there as she officially announces you the Uchuu clan head"

"Then the meal right?"

"Yes the meal, But you need to be carful at this meal Latoya, many people will have agendas at this party, some will be jealous of your position, some fear it but they both lead to assassinations attempts."

I nod, I guess that's expected in some messed up sense.

"The main thing you need to be careful of is poison, Try to eat as drink as little as possible for your own safety"

Ill have to stand my ground, Even if I have to put on an act if anyone sees any weakness this party that will be my reputation. Weak.

"Then what happens after the meal?"

"All tables will get removed and then ill will be socialising and dancing, a lot of people will want to speak to you"

"Great, I don't feel ready" I bite my lip

"Its normal to be nervous Latoya, Just do the best you can and try not to panic, You are strong and have been through a lot"

"Well I guess all that's left is getting though it will no incidents" I stand up

"Well I need to go and prepare myself"

"Of course, I will see you Later, ill go with you to the venue"

Hours pass and its early evening, Leah and Sophie have already gone ahead to the venue while im walking down to the lobby to meet Yaga.

"Are you ready" He asks

"As ready as ill ever be" I sigh

"Don't worry, You will do fine"

We drive to the venue and the car door is open for me, I step out and I am amazed.

The venue they booked was an event hall that's used often for big events. Its a beautiful building.

"Ill head in first, Unfortunately you have to enter alone but ill be in there watching over you" He pats my shoulder and then heads inside.

I'm left waiting alone, Well this is great.

"Latoya" I hear a voice

I look to my left and see Shoko smoking, she clearly snook out

"Hey Shoko" I smile walking up to her, Its quite outside but I guess everyone is waiting for my arrival

"So your the Uchuu Head?" Shoko laughs. I have always loved how chilled out Shoko is makes me feel like I have nothing to worry about.

"Apparently" I laugh back

"God I can not wait till I see the faces on the others" she snubs out he cigarette and throws it away

"Well I'm going to sneak back in, I will see you in there I'm cheering you on" She walks away

"Thanks"

Now all that's left is for me to enter.

"Miss" I hear someone, A guard.

"Its time"

I follow him to the entrance of the main hall, I can hear everyone on the other side of the door

"Are you ready?" He and another guard grab the door handles.

I nod, the doors open.

Let the chaos begin.
