Fardan took Faiza and left the place. Faiza's aunt saw them leaving in a car and went back.
"Sir, where are we going? This isn't the way to my house," Faiza asked, anxiety evident in her voice.
Ignoring Faiza, Fardan continued driving. Faiza's nervousness grew, her hands began to tremble. He was taking her through desolate alleyways and towards a forest. Disturbing thoughts started filling her mind.
"Is he taking me to kill me and feed me to animals? But why would he kill me? I have no enmity with him. But what if he has other intentions? His intentions don't seem right. What should I do now?" She tried to calm herself, but the thoughts kept coming.
Fardan was observing her every move. Noticing her trembling hands, he increased the car's speed and stopped in front of a large mansion hidden deep in the forest. He got out and led Faiza into the mansion. She had a thousand questions but didn't have the courage to ask.
Fardan gestured for her to follow him. They walked through a grand hall that was stunningly beautiful. The mansion seemed old, but everything inside was new and impeccably maintained. Faiza had only seen such beauty in movies. Fardan led her to a room, indicated a chair for her to sit on, and then left. Faiza looked around; the room was large and spotless, as if it had just been cleaned. Everything looked very valuable. She was lost in the room's beauty, its black and red theme perfectly suiting every piece of furniture. She was brought back to reality when Fardan entered the room.
"Drink this water and let me know if you want something to eat. I can have it prepared," Fardan said, handing her a glass of water.
Faiza couldn't understand his intentions. Hesitantly, she asked, "Sir, why have you brought me here? And how will I get back home?"
Ignoring her hesitation, Fardan smiled and asked, "Do you want something to eat? How about some biryani?"
"No, I'm not hungry. I don't want anything, sir. Just tell me why you brought me here?" Faiza asked, struggling to control her anger. Fardan's silence was infuriating. She just wanted to get home quickly to avoid facing her aunt's wrath. Fardan took a deep breath and then did something Faiza had never even imagined.
"Miss Faiza Amani, I want to make you Mrs. Fardan Shehriyaar. Will you marry me?" Fardan asked lovingly, showing her a delicate and beautiful diamond and platinum ring.
Faiza stared at him in shock. Marriage? To the chairman? She thought she might have misheard him. She was speechless, just staring at Fardan.
"If you don't want to answer today, that's fine. I'll hear your response tomorrow at college. I hope you'll have an answer by then. And don't think I'm joking. I'm very serious about marrying you," Fardan said sternly as always.
Faiza was utterly bewildered. What was happening in her life? How could Fardan propose to her after just seeing her a few hours ago? She didn't even know him well, and he didn't know her either. Then why did he want to marry her? So many questions swirled in her mind. Lost in thought, she didn't notice Fardan observing her with a smile. He then asked her to come outside and left. Fardan drove her back home, and neither of them spoke a word during the journey. Faiza stared out the window, lost in her thoughts, while Fardan focused on driving. Soon they were outside her house. Fardan called her name, bringing her back to reality. She quickly tried to get out of the car, but Fardan stopped her again.
"I know you have a thousand questions because of me, but trust me, as time goes by, you'll get all your answers. Don't overthink it, and answer me with a yes tomorrow because I don't like hearing no," Fardan said in one breath and drove away. Faiza watched until his car disappeared and then hurried inside.

"Where were you for so long?? You know there are a hundred tasks to do at home, so where did you wander off to?" Her aunt slapped her and demanded for an answer.
Faiza burst into tears. She couldn't comprehend what had happened to her today. She didn't know what to say. She just kept crying. Only her aunt was at home at the time, and she took full advantage of the situation, beating Faiza mercilessly.
"I saw you with some rich, rogue guy. Where did you come back from, disgracing yourself? Tell me who he was? If you like meeting strange men so much, then leave this house. There's no place for a shameless girl like you in my house," her aunt yelled, hitting her.
Suddenly, her uncle and Shafiq came in and stopped her. Her uncle tried to understand what was going on. Then her aunt told them everything.
"Faiza, is what your aunt said true?" her uncle asked.
"W...well...uncle...I...I..." Faiza tried to speak through her tears but couldn't find the words.
"Do you think I'm lying? She really did go with a man in his car. Who knows how long she's been doing such things. If I hadn't seen her today on my way back from Salma's house, we would have kept thinking she is an innocent soul," her aunt said angrily.
Her uncle was furious but didn't say anything. Shafiq stood by, watching the scene unfold, unable to believe his mother's words.
"Faiza, answer me in yes or no. Is what your aunt said true?" her uncle asked sternly.
"Y...yes, uncle, but..." Faiza was saying through her tears when she was slapped hard, falling to the ground. She couldn't believe her uncle had hit her for the first time. He then held his head in his hands. Shafiq stood in shock, unable to believe Faiza would do such a thing. Her aunt continued ranting in anger, but Faiza couldn't hear anything. It felt like she had lost everything. She lay on the ground, unable to make sense of anything. It felt like her world had ended. What could she say to people who wouldn't even give her a chance to speak? Would they believe her if they heard her side of the story? Such thoughts swirled in her mind as everything started to blur.
"Faiza... Faiza??? Open your eyes, Faiza." Everyone was shouting. She could hear them, but her eyes wouldn't open. Everything went dark, and she lost consciousness.
