"His condition is very critical. If he regains consciousness by morning, it will be fine; otherwise, he might go into a coma." the doctor said regretfully.
"No... This can't be happening," the man stepped back in shock.
The doctors left the room.
"Sir, if you lose your strength, how will things work?" Kareem, his personal assistant, asked.
"No, Kareem, you don't understand," the man said, standing outside the ICU, looking at his son.
"Have you found out who did this?" He was now furious.
"Sir, they say it was an accident involving a truck," Kareem replied, and the man's face turned red with anger.
"How dare he... I know who did this. You stay here; I'll be back in a while. Call me if he regains consciousness," he ordered and left the hospital.

Ayesha hung up the phone after finishing her talk, and Adil and Rumaisa started laughing. Faiza had gone to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
"I can't even imagine what my brother will do to me now," Ayesha said, worried.
"He won't do anything. He'll just get a bit angry and stay silent," Adil reassured her.
"I just told you to say a little, and you acted as if something serious happened to sister-in-law. Poor brother!" Adil joked again.
"Well, if we are doing something, it should be convincing, right?" Ayesha said, smiling.
Rumaisa and Ayesha walked towards the kitchen, and Adil went to his room.

Fardan's phone kept ringing, but he was driving fast without looking at it.
When he approached his house, he stopped the car in shock. The entire mansion was engulfed in flames.
Fardan stopped the car and rushed towards the burning mansion.
"Faiza...? Ayesha...?" Fardan's hands and legs started trembling, and his entire body turned cold. He stepped back in horror. Fardan Shehriyaar, who was not afraid of any force in the world, was terrified today... afraid of losing his loved ones... afraid of losing Faiza and Ayesha.
Fardan sat there trembling, staring at the burning mansion in horror when his phone rang again. With shaking hands, he picked up the phone without looking at it.
*How do you like my gift, Fardan?* a man's voice came through.
*Who... are you?* Fardan asked, trembling.
*Furqaan Ahmed Sikander* the man replied.
*You?* Fardan asked angrily.
*Yes, it's me!* Furqaan replied angrily.
*Didn't I tell you to stay away from my family?* Fardan was furious, but the fear of losing Faiza and Ayesha made his voice quiver.
*Then why did you try to kill my son?* Furqaan asked, and Fardan didn't understand.
*What do you mean? You have a son?* Fardan asked in surprise.
*Didn't you cause my son's accident?* Now Furqaan was confused as well.
*I didn't know you had a child other than Faiza.* Fardan remembered Faiza, and the fear of losing her made him rush towards the burning mansion again.
*My son is Shamsher Furqaan Ahmed Sikander.* Furqaan said, but Fardan, though he heard it, didn't respond and ran towards the mansion.
As he approached the fire, his phone rang again. He looked at the caller ID and saw it was Ayesha. He was stunned for a moment and then answered the call.
*Assalamualaikum, brother, why haven't you come yet?* Ayesha asked, a bit serious.
*W... Walekum assalam... Ayesha??* Fardan was still in shock.
*Brother, I was just joking. Sorry, we were playing a game. We are here at aunt's house,* Ayesha confessed everything.
Fardan hung up the call without saying anything, got in his car, and drove quickly towards his aunt's house.

"Who did this to you, son?" Furqaan asked, holding his son Shamsher's hand, who was lying unconscious.
"I always kept an eye on you because I didn't want any shadow of my enemies to fall on you, but look at you now, lying lifeless, and I can't do anything. Your mother had also laid lifeless like this one day, and I couldn't do anything then either. Since that moment, I've hated everyone related to your mother's death. You are her most precious keepsake, son... I don't want to lose you," Furqaan spoke tearfully to his son.
"Please wake up, son... You are everything to me," Furqaan pleaded again.

Fardan rushed inside, and Faiza was standing by the kitchen, setting plates on the table. When Fardan saw her, he let out a sigh of relief. In just a few hours, Fardan had experienced things he had never imagined in his entire life. Without saying anything, he hugged Faiza tightly. Faiza was startled for a moment but then remained silent, feeling Fardan's presence. Fardan, without saying anything, just held her tightly. When Ayesha approached with water, Fardan hugged her as well and then suddenly started pulling her ears.
"Ouch, brother, let go, it's hurting," Ayesha cried in pain.
"And what about the heart attack you just gave me?" Fardan said, letting go of her ears.
"No, no, brother, it was Adil who told me to do it," Ayesha blamed everything on Adil.
"Adil?" Fardan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, you can ask sister-in-law. She's my witness," Ayesha said, standing behind Faiza.
Fardan, without saying anything, walked towards Adil's room.
"Adil, why did you play such a nasty joke?" Fardan asked, punching him as soon as he entered.
"Brother, it was just a little joke. It's not like I actually did anything," Adil said, making a face.
"Today, because of your joke, something real almost happened. It's a good thing they were both here," Fardan said angrily, and Adil looked at him questioningly.
Fardan narrated the entire story from the office to the house. Adil was shocked. He now listened seriously to his brother's words.
"Brother, Shamsher Sikander is the one who seized baba's land, right?" Adil remembered and asked.
"Yes, I got baba another piece of land, but Shamsher Sikander was never found. Today, I found out that, as always, Furqaan and his son were involved in this," Fardan said angrily.
"There's such a difference, isn't there, brother, between sister-in-law and her father?" Adil said regretfully.
"You're right, Adil. I made a big mistake," Fardan said with regret.
"Let it go, brother. It's not your fault. You thought Furqaan's daughter would be like him, so you spied on sister-in-law and hated her to find Furqaan's weakness. But Furqaan even abandoned his own daughter like an orphan," Adil said, now angry at Furqaan.
"Don't tell anyone about this," Fardan told Adil, who nodded and left. Fardan sat on the bed, lost in thought.
