A boy meets a girl by chance,
Extends his hand in friendship's dance,
A sweet facade, but poison within,
With a false name, his lies begin. The girl, so innocent and pure,
With her father's dreams, she endures,
Her aunt's torment, endless and cold,
Blameless, yet burdened, she's controlled. She weeps quietly, lost in thought,
As his gaze catches hers, deeply caught,
Under the guise of friendship, he schemes,
Reading her diary, unveiling her dreams.Their bond deepens, grows ever tight,
In days, she reveals her life in light,
He seeks her trust with hidden intent,
She sees him true; his heart is bent. One day, he breaks the bond in haste,
Leaves behind the diary in a forgotten state,
When he learns of her innocence through a friend,
His path of hate to love does bend.Soon, the boy is lost in her thought,
Her memory, the only peace he's sought,
Without her, his world seems gray,
He sought revenge, but Love Obsession led the way.Without her will, he claims her hand,
Taking the game of love a step unplanned,
He cares for her with every breath,
And in her heart, his love finds depth. But when she learns of his deceitful game,
She walks away, leaving his hand in shame,
He weeps for her memory, day and night,
Until she returns, speaking of love's light. In this tale, his sister finds a part,
At first sight, blue eyes steal her heart,
The boy was her brother's foe,
But fate's mistake made him her beau. The wrong he did comes back to him,
Breaking hearts on a whim,
His sister too falls under the spell,
Sweet words hide lies that only time will tell.Innocent, she walks a crooked line,
Inviting a deceiver, thinking love divine,
With joy, she sings of a wedding vow,
Blind to the truth, as love furrows her brow. Then enters the villain, the father's role,
Unaware, his mind takes a toll,
Lost in madness, he sees the dead,
Believing his wife lives instead.A twist unfolds, an accident strikes,
The boy loses all his memories and might,
The girl dreams of vows made true,
While he lies unconscious, his life askew. The boy's father, in a vengeful spree,
Sets fire to the girl's home, wild and free,
But they escape the flames alive,
It takes the boy months to revive. When he seeks to end old feuds in peace,
The girl falls in the line of fire's cease,
He learns his father is the killer's hand,
And a hundred excuses are quickly planned. In the heated argument, the father took the girl's name,
He shot her, sealing her fate with his aim,
The girl fell unconscious in his arms so tight,
The boy's memory returned when he heard her name that night. In his rage, the boy shot his own father,
For the first time, he revealed his love for her,
Fearing his father's enmity had held him back,
Today, he declared his love, because of the father's attack. The girl is saved by prayers so deep,
The father's mind now starts to weep,
Day by day, he loses his way,
Till prison takes him, where he'll stay. The boy marries the girl so dear,
Together they walk a path sincere,
The father's crimes earn him a cell,
And they visit him, wishing him well. The girl's friend too finds her way,
Falls for a love that's here to stay,
The boy declares his heart's deep fire,
And she becomes his heart's desire. From this tale, a lesson we find,
Love's power can heal and bind,
The enemy made by misunderstanding's art,
Was truly innocent from the start. The one you hold dearest, life often takes away,
Their face haunts your dreams, night and day,
A lifetime of tears, in their memory you drown,
Beware of Love Obsession, it can drag you down.~Faiza Amani.

It's not that extraordinary, but I tried to express our story through poetry. I really love poetry, so what do you think of this attempt?
Also read the shayari in roman urdu in my other book, if you can understand urdu/hindi.
