"Bhai, don't be so worried. She's your wife; she's not going anywhere. She just wants to stay there for a few days, so let her," said Ayesha, fed up with seeing Fardan pacing in the hall in distress.
"You know she's as essential to me as my breath. How will I survive these days? Moreover, I don't know how those people are treating her," Fardan said worriedly.
"Bhai, they won't do anything to bhabi. She's now part of your family. Why would anyone harm a guest for a day?" Ayesha said innocently.
"You don't know how those people are, especially Faiza's aunt. I hate that woman. If I had my way, I would give her a painful death, but I stay silent for Faiza's sake," Fardan said, controlling his anger.
"Bhai, no one is that bad to torture bhabi in a single day," Ayesha tried to calm Fardan's anger.
"I hope you're right. If anything happens to my Faiza, I won't spare her," Fardan couldn't stand Faiza's aunt.
"Bhai, instead of being tense here, it's better you go and bring her back," Ayesha said and went to her room.
"Yes, that's right. I'll go and bring Faiza back," Fardan said to himself and left with his car.

Rumaisa ran after Adil, who was heading towards his car. When she called out to him, he stopped.
"What does 'Rumi' mean?" Rumaisa asked, raising her eyebrows.
"It was just a slip of the tongue," Adil pretended to be clueless.
"Don't ever call me by that name again. I don't like it," Rumaisa said irritably.
"Why?" Adil asked.
"Someone else used to call me that, who was the most special person in the world to me, but now they're not with me, so I don't want to hear that name," Rumaisa said sadly.
"Who used to call you that?" Adil asked, very angry.
"The one who was most special to me and always will be," Rumaisa said, igniting a spark in Adil's heart.
"If he left you, why do you still call him special?" Adil asked, hiding his anger.
"It was out of compulsion. He didn't want to leave me," Rumaisa became even sadder.
"Don't give him so much respect," Adil felt jealous. She never treated him with such respect.
"I will give him that respect. Who are you to stop me?" Rumaisa snapped.
Adil fell silent but felt a burning jealousy inside. He wanted to find that man and beat him so severely that he would never come to Rumaisa's mind again, but he was also happy that he was no longer in Rumaisa's life. However, he was furious at the man who made the mistake of leaving Rumaisa. He knew how desperately he wanted to have Rumaisa, and here this man had left her. If a man truly loves, no matter how big the compulsion, he never leaves. But this man had betrayed Rumaisa, and she was still living in his memories.
Adil fell silent, and when Rumaisa started to leave, Adil stopped her.
"I'll drop you home. I'm going that way for some work," Adil said, and Rumaisa quietly got into the car.

"If you tell Fardan or your uncle the truth, you won't be spared," Aunty said and let go of Faiza, who was about to fall but was caught by someone.
"What truth, Zeba?" Riyaz asked, coming out of the room.
"Are you okay, Faiza?" Fardan saw blood on Faiza's forehead and was very worried.
"Y..es," Faiza managed to say in pain.
Fardan glared angrily at Aunty, picked up Faiza, and left the house.
"Where are you taking me?" Faiza asked Fardan fearfully.
"Shhh... Not a word now," Fardan said lovingly, placing his finger on her lips. Faiza fell silent. He then got into the car, fastened Faiza's seatbelt, and started driving.
After a while, they were home, where the doctor was already present. Fardan had driven very fast, and Faiza remained silent in fear the entire way. As soon as they got out of the car, Fardan picked her up again, and she stayed quiet because the bleeding was causing her a lot of pain. He took her straight to his room and laid her on the bed. The doctor checked Faiza, bandaged her, gave Fardan some medicine, and then left.
Ayesha sat beside Faiza. The doctor had given Faiza an injection to reduce the pain, which made her sleepy. She fell asleep, and Fardan sat by her side. At Fardan's request, Ayesha went to her room.
"My love, why are you trying to take my life?" Fardan said lovingly.
Faiza was in a deep sleep. Fardan held her and gently stroked her hair.
The phone rang, and Fardan picked it up reluctantly without looking at the name.
"Assalamualaikum," came the voice from the other side.
"Walekum assalam," Fardan replied curtly.
"I'm Riyaz, Faiza's uncle," Riyaz said.
"Yes, I'm listening," Fardan said, annoyed.
"What happened, son-in-law? Why did you leave so suddenly?" Riyaz asked.
"You'd better ask your wife about that," Fardan said angrily.
"I'm sorry if my wife said something. Please, for Faiza's sake, forgive us all," Riyaz pleaded in fear.
"For Faiza's sake!" Fardan said and started laughing.
"Yes, please," Riyaz pleaded again.
"For Faiza's sake, you want me to risk her life repeatedly. Is that what you mean?" Fardan was very angry. He had moved to the study room, as he didn't want Faiza's sleep to be disturbed for any reason.
"No, I promise you... This will be my wife's last mistake. I will never let this happen again. Please, forgive us this once," Riyaz said, and Fardan, looking at Faiza's picture in the study, smiled.
"Okay. This is the last chance. If my wife faces any trouble because of your wife or family again, I'll erase your entire family's name," Fardan said angrily and hung up the phone.

Fardan was holding Faiza again, gently stroking her face.
"You are the peace of my heart, Faiza. When you're with me, I feel like forgiving the whole world. Your presence makes me feel so safe that even if I were surrounded by a thousand enemies, I wouldn't fear death if you were with me. You are that special person for me, whose mere presence makes me feel like I'm in the heavens. I don't know what good deeds I've done or what reward I'm receiving that Allah has given me such a sweet and innocent wife. I may not express it, but I love you immensely. Do you know I pray a gratitude prayer every day because I have you? Since you've come into my life, I want to leave all bad habits and just be with you. Do you know I crave your attention a lot, but for some reason, you're so scared of me!"
Fardan fell asleep while talking. When his voice stopped, Faiza opened her eyes and took a deep breath. She had heard everything Fardan had said. For some reason, the injection hadn't affected her today. For the first time, hearing Fardan's long confession made her feel strange. Her heart told her that this was the sweet, innocent Shehri she once befriended, but her mind reminded her that this was Fardan Shehriyaar, who once talked about celebrating after committing a murder.
