Today was Shafiq's wedding, which caused a lot of excitement at Uncle's house. After much persuasion from Uncle, Fardan dropped Faiza off early in the morning but warned Uncle privately not to let anything happen to her. As soon as Faiza arrived, Aunt put her to work in the kitchen, preparing food for the guests. She had been standing there making bread (roti) for a long time. The house was full of guests, and no one came to help her, so it took a long time for her to finish, which led Aunt to scold her.
"The food is really good, sister," Zeba's sister said while enjoying the meal.
"Once you're done eating, check on Arshia. The nikah is in the afternoon, and I don't know if she's ready yet," Zeba replied, ignoring her sister's compliment.
"Alright, as you say," said Rida, Zeba's younger sister.
"Arshia, do you need anything?" Rida asked as she entered the room.
"No, Aunt, just give me some food. I'm very hungry," replied Arshia, who was sitting ready in her white bridal outfit.
"Okay, you sit here and relax. I'll send Faiza with some food. If you need anything, ask her," said Rida before leaving.
Following Rida's instructions, Faiza brought the food to Arshia, who started eating. Faiza sat silently next to her.
"Hey, silly girl, where is your attention?" Zeba shouted as she entered the room.
Arshia and Faiza looked at Zeba in surprise. They didn't understand what she meant. Zeba quickly removed Arshia's dupatta, which had gotten stained with curry.
"Where is your mind?" Zeba angrily grabbed Faiza's arm and asked.
"Aunt, it was my fault. I didn't see it. Faiza is not to blame," Arshia said.
"Leave it, dear. Don't defend her. She's jealous of you because she wanted to marry Shafiq. That's why she ruined your wedding dress," Zeba said furiously.
"No, Aunt, I didn't do anything..." Before Faiza could finish her sentence, Zeba slapped her, causing tears to fall from Faiza's eyes.
"Aunt, I'm telling you, it wasn't Faiza's fault," Arshia said, looking worriedly at Faiza.
"This serpent is taking advantage of your innocence. Go find another dupatta or ask someone to wash this one. I'll deal with her," Zeba said, dragging Faiza to the storeroom.
Faiza stood crying and trembling in a corner. Zeba glared at her and said, "If you create any drama at my Shafiq's wedding then no one will be worse than me. Stay here until your in-laws arrive."
Zeba locked the room and left. Faiza, covering her mouth with her hand, cried. She missed Fardan and Ayesha a lot. Before leaving her there, Fardan had told her that he would come to her at a single call or message, but she didn't have the courage to call him. She cried herself to sleep on the floor.

"Mum, I'm not coming. You guys go. I'm not in the mood," Adil said disinterestedly.
"But why, son?" Azra asked.
"I have some work. Please don't force me," Adil replied, causing Azra to fall silent.

"Zeba, I haven't seen Faiza for a long time. Where is she?" Riyaz asked his wife.
"She must be somewhere around. How would I know?" Zeba lied.
"Bring her to our room after a while. I need to talk to both of you," Riyaz said seriously.
"Okay," Zeba replied, getting busy with her tasks.
Riyaz was also surrounded by guests and forgot about Faiza.
As the nikah time approached, everyone started heading to the mosque. Zeba didn't think about Faiza and went to the mosque with everyone amidst the wedding chaos. Riyaz also thought that Zeba wouldn't harm Faiza in front of everyone at the wedding house.
Everyone gathered for the wedding ceremony. Fardan, Ayesha, Azra, and Aqeel also arrived. Ayesha started looking for Faiza, who was nowhere to be seen. Fardan was also concerned about finding her. When he couldn't find Faiza, he asked Riyaz. Riyaz, worried, went to Zeba, who reluctantly told him everything that had happened in the morning, which Fardan also heard. Fardan was furious with Zeba but was more worried about Faiza. Without thinking, he drove quickly to Riyaz's house. Some elderly guests were at home, so the house was open. Fardan rushed inside and started checking all the rooms. When he saw the locked storeroom, he tried to break the door, but it wouldn't budge. Fardan, red with anger, took a large stone from outside and broke the lock. He ran inside and found Faiza unconscious in a corner. Her phone had fallen from her hand. Fardan, holding her in his arms, gently patted her face to wake her up, but she didn't regain consciousness. Fardan was extremely worried. He quickly went downstairs, fetched some water from the kitchen, and splashed it on Faiza's face. When she still didn't wake up, Fardan felt like his own breath was stopping.
With trembling hands, he carried her to the car, gently placed her inside, and drove quickly to the hospital. Seeing Fardan, the doctor immediately arranged a personal room for Faiza. The doctor examined Faiza's condition while Fardan sat in a corner, his head in his hands, overwhelmed with worry and anger.
"Doctor, is everything okay?" Fardan asked, nearly frantic with worry.
"Thank God, Madam is fine. Her blood pressure dropped, causing her to faint, but if you take my advice, let her stay in the hospital for two days. I'll observe her condition and update you. It seems she was shocked by something, and she was probably hungry since morning. Excessive crying has also weakened her body. I had told you to take care of her. If she faints again, she might start having panic attacks, which could be life-threatening. If you care for your wife, keep her away from all kinds of tensions, Sir," the doctor said before leaving, after placing Faiza on a drip.
Fardan kissed Faiza's hand repeatedly, his tears falling. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to gather everyone who had ever hurt Faiza and burn them, but he couldn't do that. Faiza was always forgiving, and she expected the same from Fardan, which was why Zeba was still alive. But after today, Fardan wasn't going to spare anyone. His eyes were red with anger as he looked at Faiza, wiped his tears, kissed her forehead, and got up.
