Furqaan was sitting in his office, signing some files. When his pen stopped working, he began searching through his desks for another one. His eyes fell on Saif’s phone, which had been switched off and left aside. He remembered that Saif had a lover, but Saif himself couldn’t recall much about her.

When he turned on the phone, he saw numerous calls and messages from the same number. He opened the messages.

*Are you okay?*

*Saif, what happened to you?*

*Why aren’t you responding?*

*I’m sorry. I didn’t reject your love. I just wanted our marriage to happen with my brother's consent.*

*You wanted to marry me, right? I’m ready for the marriage.*

*Just answer me once, Saif. I’ve spoken to my brother. He’s agreed to the marriage.*

*Please, Saif, talk to me once.*

*I won’t ignore you again. Just respond to me, please.*

There were many such messages, which left Furqaan very surprised. He had no idea that his son loved someone so deeply that he had already talked about marriage. The way the girl had sent the messages made it clear that she loved him too.

“Zafar, I need all the details of this number,” Furqaan said.

“Sir, they’ll be on your table in 15 minutes,” Zafar, who worked for him, said before leaving.

*Do you really want to marry me?*

*I’ve replied after so many days, and you still want to marry me?*

Furqaan sent the messages because, before talking to his son about her, he wanted to test the girl's loyalty and love.

*Yes, I still want to marry you.*

The reply came instantly, which Furqaan read in amazement. He didn’t know that, even in this day and age, there were girls who remained devoted to one man. He decided to wait for Zafar to return before responding.

"Brother, how long will this continue? Your life won’t improve by just looking at sister-in-law’s pictures every day at home," Adil said, seeing his brother’s lifeless existence.

“Did you find Faiza?” Fardan asked in return, holding Faiza’s picture in his hand.

“In Sha Allah, we will find her, but you shouldn’t destroy yourself like this," Adil felt deep sympathy for his brother.

“Come to me when you find Faiza,” Fardan said as he got up and headed toward his room.

“Going mad over sister-in-law’s memories won’t bring her back. We made a mistake, which is why she left," Adil’s words struck Fardan’s heart like an arrow.

“Because I made a mistake, I want to punish myself,” Fardan said, forcing a smile.

“If you punish yourself, will she come back?” Adil asked.

“I don’t know, but what can I do, Adil? I can’t focus on anything without her. She was like the breath of my life. I love her. At first, I thought I was claiming to love her out of pity because I had tried to hurt her by misunderstanding her, but that wasn’t the case. I truly fell in love with her. It was a pure love, where I was happy just to see her from afar, but my love has now turned into an obsession. I’m obsessed with her…it's a Love Obsession... a kind of love where it’s impossible for me to live without her. If she’s there, I exist; if she’s not, I’m nothing. I don’t want to live without her, Adil,” Fardan had tears in his eyes. He was opening up about his feelings after months, and Adil was listening silently.

“Please, Adil, bring her back from anywhere. I can’t live without her. I don’t want to live without Faiza. I even forgave my parents’ killer at her request, so can’t she forgive me for one mistake and come back to me? Please, Adil, tell her to give me my punishment while staying with me. I can’t live without her. I’ll do anything for her, but I can’t live without her. Adil, please bring Faiza back from somewhere. I’m very tired. I haven’t slept properly for months. I can’t sleep without her. Every moment, I worry about her. Where could she be, and how could she be? I miss her so much. Doesn’t she ever miss me? Adil, please tell her that I’ll accept any punishment to earn her forgiveness, but she shouldn’t leave me. Where should I find her? She’s everything to me, so why did she leave, knowing this? She didn’t even give me a chance to explain. What should I do, Adil? Where should I find her?” Fardan was now crying loudly, asking Adil, who didn’t know how to console him.

Adil hugged his brother, trying to calm him down, but Fardan kept repeating that Adil should bring Faiza back from somewhere. Adil had tried searching for her with Rumaisa’s help. They had even tried to find her in all the nearby cities, but every time, they were met with failure.

“Sir, all the details of that girl are in this file. You’ll be surprised to know who she is,” Zafar returned shortly after gathering all the information and handed the file to Furqaan.

Without saying anything, Furqaan opened the file. He was shocked.

“Ayesha Shehriyaar?” Furqaan yelled in anger.

“Yes, sir. The SIM is registered under Fardan Shehriyaar’s name, but his sister Ayesha Shehriyaar uses the phone,” Zafar replied.

“You may leave,” Furqaan told Zafar. Once he left, Furqaan angrily threw the file on the floor.

So, now you want to trap my son in your sister’s love to kill him, Fardan,” Furqaan said to himself.

“I told my son to trap your sister, but it seems like everything has turned upside down,” Furqaan said, deep in thought.

*But I don’t like you, and I don’t want to marry you,* Furqaan sent a message to Ayesha.

*Why, Saif? You said you loved me, didn’t you?* Ayesha asked.

*I did love you, but what about you? Do you love me?* Furqaan asked.

*Yes, I do,* Ayesha confessed her love after thinking for a while, but she didn’t know that the person she was confessing her love to wasn’t Saif.

*You’re lying. You want to have me killed, don’t you?* Furqaan sent an angry message.

*What do you mean?* Ayesha asked, confused.

*You pretend to be innocent, just like your brother,* Furqaan wrote, burning with anger.

*Saif, what are you saying?* Ayesha didn’t understand any of Saif’s words.

*From today, I have no relationship with you. If you try to call me again, you’ll have to face the consequences,* Furqaan sent the message.

*You won’t marry me? Were all your claims of love false?* Ayesha, still caught up in his words, questioned him.

*Yes,* Furqaan wrote.

*Don’t say that, Saif. I’ll die without you,* Ayesha, trying to control her tears, wrote.

*Then go ahead and die,* Furqaan wrote and angrily smashed the phone against the wall, shattering it into pieces.
