"I’m Shamsher’s father, Furqaan Ahmed Sikandar." Furqaan said, sitting in the chair in front of Ayesha, smiling.

"Who is Shamsher?" Ayesha asked.

"Apologies. Not Shamsher, but Saif Sultaan, the one you claim to love." Furqaan said with a laugh.

"S..Saif?" Ayesha was confused.

"You say you love him and claim he wanted to marry you, yet you don’t even know that his real name is Shamsher Furqaan Ahmed Sikandar." Furqaan’s words stunned Ayesha.

"I don’t know how much you love him, but I love my son more than my own life, and I will never let him be with people like you." Furqaan said again.

Ayesha, lost in her thoughts, kept staring at the ground.
