"No..." He clearly refused, but even he knew in his heart how much he had yearned for her. However, after what his father had done, he didn't want to live a lifetime of shame by being with Ayesha.

"Wh...why?" Tears welled up in Ayesha's eyes, but she struggled to ask, holding herself together.

"Because I don't love you. I’ve always been playing with you. My dad told me to trap our enemy Fardan's sister in love so that we could destroy his life. It was never a coincidence that we met. Every time I met you, it was part of a plan, filled with lies and a pretense of love to entrap you in my fake affection. And now you’re saying these things, believing in a lie. I don't understand why you've gotten the misconception that I wish to see you dead. I have no interest in such things. I have nothing to do with you anymore. You’re merely my sister's in-law; beyond that, there's no connection between us." Saif, now more serious, spoke while tears streamed down Ayesha's face. Saying these words felt like walking on burning coals for Saif, but he was so ashamed of his father’s actions that he never wanted to face Ayesha again. He believed everything that had happened to Ayesha was because of him.

"Your... love... was... just... an act...? You... truly... don't... love me?" Ayesha tried to hold back her tears, but they had already started to fall.

"No, I don't." Saif spoke with a heavy heart, saying things that were against his will, but he didn't want to hurt her any further.

"Then...you...can...continue...the...act..of..fake...love..with...me...forever...and..I...will..be...content...with...that," Ayesha said with great difficulty.

"An act? But why would I? I don’t want any relationship with you." Saif forced a laugh, though the pain hidden behind it glistened in his eyes.

"Because...I...can't...live...without...you." Ayesha cried in agony. Her condition started worsening due to the stress, while Saif tried to keep himself strong, knowing that if Ayesha pleaded one more time, he wouldn’t be able to resist her words and would give in.

"You lived without me before. Just forget me like a bad dream." Saif concluded and turned to leave, but Ayesha's words stopped him in his tracks.

"If...you...won’t...marry...me...then...I...don't...want...to...live." Ayesha, completing her sentence, pulled out her oxygen tube and threw it away. Saif rushed to her side, but within moments, her condition had deteriorated significantly. He frantically tried to reconnect the oxygen machine, but her heartbeat was rapidly decreasing. Saif called out to the doctor in panic. The nurse, who was in charge of Ayesha's room, hurried in, looking worried. Within moments, Ayesha was treated. Saif sat outside, staring silently at the OT doors. Fardan and Faiza paced anxiously nearby.

As soon as Irfan left court, he went straight to his wife and children. He deeply regretted what he had done and wanted to set things right. He confessed everything to his wife and decided he deserved to be punished for his crimes. He wanted to meet his family one last time. Though his wife was deeply saddened, she had always supported him in every moment of his life, and this time was no different. After instructing his children that he had to leave for business, he returned.

Upon returning, Irfan met with Furqaan.

"How are you, Furqaan?" Irfan asked.

"I’m fine." Furqaan smiled back.

"I need to talk to you about something important," Irfan said seriously, prompting Furqaan to become serious as well.

"Don’t say anything until I’ve finished speaking. You know, ever since you regained consciousness, Saif hasn’t come to meet us. That’s because he was arrested by the police for allegedly shooting Ayesha Shehriyaar." Irfan hadn’t finished speaking when Furqaan interrupted.

"Saif? In jail?" Furqaan asked in astonishment.

"Yes, because he took the blame for your crime," Irfan said with regret.

"But how is that possible? I’m the one who shot that girl. This must be another one of Fardan's tricks to keep my son away from me," Furqaan said, looking elsewhere.

"No, this is not one of Fardan’s schemes. Kareem hid your gun, but the gun Saif used to shoot at you was left behind, and the police arrested him based on that evidence." Irfan explained everything.

"Saif? Saif will leave me too? Amna, look, just like you, Saif will also abandon me," Furqaan wept and shouted. He kept repeating the same thing, unable to be calmed.

"If you want Saif back, you’ll have to confess all your crimes in court. If you do, Saif will be saved and will stay with you, safe and sound." Irfan's words calmed Furqaan, who had been struggling to free himself from the grip of two men holding him.

"I’m going to court to confess my crimes. Will you come with me to save your son?" Irfan asked, and Furqaan smiled.

"Look, Amna, I won’t let our son be taken away from us. You told me to take care of him. I’ll never let him rot in jail. He’ll live happily for the rest of his life." Furqaan said, looking in the air again. Irfan felt immense sorrow for his friend’s condition. He stood up and left.

"Sir, ever since I joined, I’ve noticed that sir talks to the air when he's alone, but he doesn’t realize that I see him. So I never said anything. Sir spends most of his time alone, so I didn’t notice it much at first. After a while, I got used to it, thinking that he was talking to himself. But after he was admitted here, he started shouting while talking. It’s like madness has taken over his mind," Kareem said, and Irfan looked at Furqaan with regret, who was still talking to the air.

A while later, the doctors came out, and everyone crowded around them. Saif sat silently in the corner, listening to their conversation.

"We strictly warned you that she hasn’t fully recovered yet. Why did you put her through such stress? She’s suffered a severe shock, and she can’t breathe properly." The doctor sternly said.

Fardan, furious, was glaring at Saif, who sat with his head bowed in shame.

"We’ve managed to stabilize her condition, but whether she survives or not depends entirely on her. We need to observe her until the evening. If she doesn’t regain consciousness by then, there’s no hope for her survival," the doctor concluded and walked away.

"This is all because of you, Saif. What did you say to my sister that shocked her so badly?" Adil grabbed Saif's collar and shouted angrily.

Tears streamed down Saif's face. Without showing any emotion, he kept looking down.

Fardan pulled Adil back, and everyone sat in silence. Saif wiped his tears and ran away. Faiza wanted to follow him, but seeing Fardan and Adil's furious expressions, she stayed and prayed for Ayesha.
