Faiza brought tea into Adil's room where Ayesha was sitting near him, and Fardan was busy on the sofa with his phone.
"Did you give tea to uncle and aunt?" Ayesha asked.
"Yes, I did," Faiza replied, handing tea to Ayesha before heading towards Fardan.
"Thank you," Fardan smiled as he took the tea.
"Aren't you going to have some?" Fardan asked as Faiza started to leave the room.
"I'm not used to it," Faiza said.
"Dear sister-in-law, you should get used to it because your husband can't do without tea," Adil remarked in a soft tone.
"True," Ayesha chuckled.
When Fardan noticed both of them, looking at him, they fell silent.
"It seems you're feeling better. Come to the office tomorrow," Fardan told Adil in a serious tone.
"No brother, I'm really not well. I'm going to bed. You all go ahead," Adil said, covering his face with a blanket.
"Adil, I need to talk to you," Ayesha said.
As Faiza started to leave with the empty cups, Fardan followed her. Ayesha remained seated. Despite often teasing each other, Ayesha and Adil became great companions when needed. This was the reason Azra had spoken to Ayesha about Adil.

Rumaisa stood still next to Arun, tormenting him. He lay there like a living corpse, while Rumaisa repeatedly struck him with a whip. She was extremely restless today, but she couldn't understand why. She wanted to find peace somewhere, hence kept taking her frustrations out on Arun.
Whenever Arun's condition deteriorated significantly, she would have the doctors present treat him and then unleash her anger on him.
"Madam, if you torture him so much, he'll die," someone said.
"Adil?"
"You're so cruel."
Suddenly, she regained consciousness. It was just a thought. Adil wasn't there. Why was she thinking about Adil? She should have been happy he wasn't here, as he always bothered her about everything. Rumaisa didn't like Adil's restraint, but now that he wasn't here, she missed him terribly.
"Take good care of him. Tomorrow is the day of his death," Rumaisa told Ahmed and left.
Rumaisa's head was spinning with pain, but she knew she wouldn't find peace even after going home. She parked her car near her house and sat in it for a long time. Rumaisa had been given this car by Fardan so that she could use it for secret missions or to go out at night. Rumaisa never used this car in front of anyone.
After a while, she took a deep breath and went home. As she had expected, they were waiting for her arrival.

"Faiza, listen..." Fardan called out.
Faiza remained silent in her place.
"Why are you angry with me?" Fardan asked innocently.
"I... I'm not angry with you," Faiza said firmly.
It was the first time Faiza spoke to Fardan without fear, looking into his eyes with seriousness.
"Then why are you treating me like a stranger? Earlier, you used to be scared, but now I see indifference in your eyes," Fardan said with concern.
"It's nothing like that," Faiza replied vaguely.
"Please tell me the truth, my love. I can't bear your anger," Fardan pleaded.
"If I tell you, will you quit that job?" Faiza remained serious.
"I'll quit the whole world if you ask me to," Fardan's eyes sparkled with determination that forced Faiza to believe in him.
"Not the whole world, just one job," Faiza remained serious.
"Tell me, my dear. I am ready to do anything for you," Fardan said confidently with a smile.
"Remember when you didn't come home, I called you, but I heard on the call that you had murdered someone and were celebrating... I just want to know if you really killed someone that day?" Faiza's hands were shaking, but she managed to ask her question.
"That's a long story, Faiza. You'll have to understand it completely," Fardan regretted that night, but he couldn't help it if Faiza heard everything.
"I don't care about your story. Just tell me, did you really kill someone that day?" Faiza was ready to cry, her hands and feet trembling but she managed to ask.
"I wanted to do it, but I didn't," Fardan answered honestly.
"Why?" Faiza asked.
"He was wearing a bulletproof jacket. He knew my plan, and despite firing my bullet, he survived," Fardan was sorry for not killing him.
"Why do you want to kill him? And how many innocent lives have you taken?" Faiza's tears came out. Her hands and feet were trembling as she asked Fardan crying.
"My love, don't cry. I will tell you everything, just don't cry. Your tears feel like bullets piercing my heart," he said anxiously, wiping away her tears.
"I just need answers to my questions," she said, distancing herself from him.
"I have never killed an innocent person. I have only killed those who have committed atrocities against others. The person I went to kill that day is my biggest enemy. Since I regained consciousness, I have been searching for him," Fardan's tone became very serious.
"What kind of enmity do you have with him?" Faiza had now become somewhat composed.
"He's a murderer... of my... parents!" Fardan's eyes turned red. He clenched his fists, struggling to control his anger.
"What do you mean?" Faiza was very shocked.
"I had told you that my parents had an accident. Everyone believes that, but it was actually a murder. The man who killed my parents was a powerful figure, so he easily escaped punishment. But now, I have become much stronger. I will take revenge for my parents' murder," tears welled up in Fardan's eyes, but he quickly wiped them away and said angrily.
Faiza felt a deep sympathy for Fardan's situation. He was just 7-8 years old when he lost his parents, and she knew the pain of being orphaned. She herself had gone through that suffering. She felt that if Fardan wanted to kill the murderer of his parents, what was wrong with that? She herself had once wanted to kill her father as it was because of him that her mother is not by her side, but with time, she had forgiven her father. She wanted Fardan now to forgive the man as well and move forward, believing that no one can do justice better than Allah. But she did not have the courage to say all this.
Seeing Fardan's red eyes and clenched fists, Faiza put the tray in her hand on the table and hugged Fardan. Fardan did not understand what had happened for a moment, but when he realized that Faiza had taken the initiative today, a small smile appeared on his face. Fardan also hugged Faiza back tightly. Both stood in each other's arms in the hall, intoxicated. Both had been longing for the peace for so many years, and today that peace had finally come to them.
