2 Days Ago:

When Fardan returned to the hospital from the mosque, he saw everyone sitting there, crying and praying for Ayesha. Rumaisa and Azra were forcefully trying to get Faiza and Adil to eat something, but both of them stubbornly refused.

As soon as Faiza saw Fardan, she wiped her tears. Fardan quietly sat down next to her. The doctor came out shortly after performing the operation.

"How is she?" Everyone gathered around the doctor, asking eagerly.

"This is the first case in my career where I've witnessed a miracle. Thank God she survived, but we will observe her overnight to ensure there are no complications. It may take time for her to regain consciousness, so none of you can meet her today," the doctor said before walking away.

"Thank God," everyone exclaimed with relief, hugging each other.

Suddenly, Fardan ran out and Faiza followed him.

"What happened to you?" She asked anxiously, running after him.

"Nothing. You go," Fardan replied, standing with his back to her. Faiza couldn’t see his face.

"No, what happened to you? Everything is fine now, right?" Faiza moved in front of him, concerned.

Fardan's face was soaked with tears, and Faiza was shocked.

"I thought... I was going to lose my sister," Fardan said, wiping his tears.

Faiza, struggling to calm him down, led him to a nearby bench.

"She’s fine. Nothing can happen to her. All our prayers are with her," Faiza said with a smile, hugging him.

"Faiza, you know I can't live without the two of you. You both are as important to me as the air we need to breathe," Fardan said, crying like a child.

"Shhh, quiet. We are both fine, and we’re here with you. Don’t worry; we won’t leave you," she comforted him, stroking his hair.

"But you left. First Mom and Dad left us, and then you, and now Ayesha," Fardan couldn’t stop his tears.

Faiza didn’t know what to do, so she gathered some courage and said, "If you keep crying like this, Ayesha will recover, but I will leave you again."

"What??" Fardan looked at her in surprise.

"I’m serious. Now that everything is fine, you should be thankful. Why are you crying?" Faiza said more seriously this time, and Fardan wiped his tears, washed his face, and then took her to the canteen.

They sat together, enjoying tea, and Faiza began telling him where she had been and what she had done in those three months. She shared how she worked as a teacher in a small school, earning her own living for the first time. She was overjoyed at feeling independent and making her own money. Fardan just kept smiling at her words.

Everyone was so happy about Ayesha's recovery that poor Saif was forgotten. Faiza, too, became so absorbed in her conversation with Fardan that she forgot about her brother, who was enduring tortures at the police station yet stubbornly insisted that he had fired the shot.

Present Day:

"Only one of you can see her for now, but make sure she isn’t distressed. She’s still not fully recovered. If she suffers another shock, her survival will be impossible," the doctor warned the family when Ayesha regained consciousness that morning.

"And ask her what she wants. Since she woke up, she has been repeatedly saying someone's name," the doctor added before leaving.

Fardan went in to see Ayesha. Seeing her frail body made him feel terrible. Mustering his strength, he walked over to her, smiling as he gently ran his hand through her hair. She was trying to say something, but Fardan couldn’t hear her.

"What do you want, dear?" Fardan asked softly, moving closer.

"S.. Saif," Ayesha said in a pained voice.

"Saif?" Fardan asked, puzzled.

"S... Sa...if... I... want... to... see... him... brother," Ayesha struggled to finish her sentence.

"Dear, I understand. Don’t hurt yourself. He’s out for some work. I’ll bring him to you soon. Don’t worry," Fardan reassured her.

"Gun...shot...Saif... didn't... fire... it... Saif... saved... me..." Ayesha was still under the influence of medication, so she wasn’t fully conscious. Her eyes were closing as she spoke to Fardan. Though her sentence was incomplete, Fardan understood what she was trying to say.

"Don’t worry, dear. I’ll bring Saif to you soon. He was tired, so I sent him home to rest," Fardan said lovingly, looking at her. Ayesha mustered the strength to smile for her brother. Her body was in such pain that even the slightest movement caused her immense discomfort.

Fardan stood by her side, gently stroking her hair until she fell asleep. It had been less than five minutes before Ayesha drifted off. As soon as she fell asleep, Fardan asked Adil about Saif. When he found out that Saif was at the police station, Fardan investigated the area around the crime scene and found Furqan's gun in a pile of trash. Armed with evidence, Fardan went to court. Saif was lucky that he arrived on time. After proving Saif's innocence, Fardan brought him straight to the hospital.

"Are you okay?" Faiza asked worriedly, noticing her brother looking a bit unwell.

"Yes, I’m fine," Saif replied with a smile.

"Alright, go meet Ayesha," Faiza said, and Saif went inside.

"A... Ayesha," he hesitantly said.

Ayesha was unconscious. Saif stood still, watching her from a distance. He stood there for a long time, just looking at her, but her eyes didn’t open. When he was about to leave, Ayesha made a slight movement, and he quickly moved closer.

"S.. Saif..." she said, struggling to steady herself.

Saif felt like his heart was about to stop. In just two days, he had felt like he had died a thousand deaths, fearing he would lose her. From the beginning, he had tried to stop himself from getting attracted towards Ayesha, and he had never actually felt affectionate towards her. What he had experienced was not affection but love—Love Obsession.

"S... Sa...if," she said again in a painful voice, bringing Saif back to his senses.

"Ayesha..." Saif could only say her name, and Ayesha felt like Saif had done her the biggest favor by calling her name. Tears started to fall from her eyes, and Saif wiped them away. But these weren’t tears of sorrow; they were tears of joy—happiness at seeing Saif by her side again.

"You... said...I...should... die... and... I... have... died... and... come... back... to... life... just... to... see... you," Ayesha spoke with great difficulty, but seeing Saif made all her pain disappear.

Saif’s eyes filled with tears, but he stood silently, watching her.

"Wi... will... you... marry... me now?" Ayesha asked with great difficulty, and Saif stared at her in shock.
