Part 2.19 : Take Me Away With You

BETHANY'S POV

I glanced at Tyler and Phoebe and they both look as shocked as I am with what we heard.

I focused my eyes on Tyler. At first his eyes were filled with confusion. But when Phoebe smiled and said,

"You- You guys know each other?"

"Uhm, ye-"

"Definitely. Far before I last saw you, cous." Lance cuts me out.
 "Just go and have fun. Besides, you two look like you missed each other a lot. Don't bother watching over Beth, Evany. You have my cousin, and I am guessing you find it a better feeling, eh?" he said as he smirked.

I glanced at Tyler waiting for his response with what he said.

But he just looked away, nakakunot ang noo nya.

"Let's go, Beth." he said as he pulled me.

"O-okay. B-bye." I told them, stutterring. Well, wala naman na kasi akong choice.

Habang naglalakad sinilip ko silang dalawa.

Pinagbuksan pa nya ng pinto si Phoebe (na kilig na kilig naman   -_-)

"Masokista." I heard Lance say habang naglalakad kami at hawak nya ang kamay ko.

I looked at him and his face is very serious.

"Anong sabi mo?"

"Ang sabi ko, get in the car." sabi nya sabay turo sa kulay black na Lexus. 

Di na nya ko pinagbuksan ng pinto. Sumakay nalang sya basta sa driver's seat at sumunod nalang ako sa sinabi nya.

The ride was peaceful. Di sya nagsasalita pero nakakunot ang noo nya habang diretsong nakatingin sa kalsada.

"U-uy."

"Oh?" sagot nya na parang galit ang itsura.

"Alam mo ba kung nasaan na sila?"

"Hindi. Di ba ikaw ang close dun sa driver? Tss."

"Oh, eh sabi ko nga tatawagan ko na. Psh."

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at tinawagan sya. 

Kaso...

"H-hindi nya sinasagot..."

I felt Lance glance at me as I was looking at his caller pic on my phone na nasa kamay ko.

"Tss. Stupid talaga."

"HOY. Anong stupid ka dyan?!"

"Shut up. And just... stop doing that."

"Stop doing what? TEKA- asan na tayo? Saan tayo pupunta?"

I exclaimed as I noticed him going on a different route.

"I said, just shut up."

"Shut up ka dyan?! Eh dadalhin mo na naman ako sa lugar na di ko alam-"

I stopped after realizing what I said.

Then I was surprise when he chuckled.

"Haha. Sino nagsabi sayong di mo alam kung san tayo pupunta?" biglang sabi nya

Pagsilip ko sa bintana, nasa Manila Hotel kami.

"H-hoy! A-Anong ginagawa natin dto?!"

"Maka panic naman to. Haha. Wag kang assuming ha. Pag hotel, iniisipan mo na ng masama? This is a freakin 5-star hotel, and most of all, 'di kita type noh. I have no intention of having 'that thing' with you, ugly Bethy."
