Hala. Ano ba? Hihintayin ko ba sya?

And so, bumaba na nga ako.
I saw his car approaching the main entrance.
"Hi. S-sorry. Kay Louie ko kasi dapat isesend yun."
"I know. Get in. Ako na dyan." he said as he got my stuffs and put them in the trunk.
The ride was so silent.
Parang di kami magkakilala.
So I decided to break the ice. Ang awkward kasi. At saka kanina ko pa to gustong itanong.
"Uh.. si... si Phoebe? Bakit di mo sya kasama?"
"She wasn't able to book for a flight today. Her flight will be tomorrow pa."
"Huh, bakit? Hindi ba kayo sabay nagpa-book ng flight?"
Mukhang nagulat sya sa tanong ko kasi napadiin ang hawak nya sa manibela tapos natahimik sya saglit.
"No."
"Why?"
"Because I uh... actually... my first plan was to go by myself."
"Hala? Hindi mo sya isasama?"
"That's a stag party. Why would I invite my girlfriend over for a stag party. And besides, tayo lang ang binook at pinadalhan ni Jessie ng ticket through email."
"Well, you have a point."
"H-how about you, huh? Where's your said to be boyfriend? Starting to show his old real self back now, huh?"
"May rehearsals sya. Just stop it. Your words can no longer change anything anyway. Mag drive ka nalang."
"tss. Whatever."

Pagdating sa airport wala parin kaming kibuan. And so during our entire flight.
And as we reached Boracay....
"Oh my gosh! Bethany! Tyler!" Masayang bati samin ni Jessie na tumatakbo pa nung makarating kami sa resort.
Syempre chika kay Jessie saglit then she and Vaughn took us to our hotel rooms. In fairness, mayaman talaga tong dalawang to. Tig-isa pa kaming kwarto.
After naming magpalit, ako suot ko yung one piece kong swimsuit tapos shorts, then si Tyler naka sando at board shorts at nakasunglasses din kaming lahat. Pinakilala narin samin ni Jessie yung ibang friends nila as we ate lunch.
"Oooh. so?" Jessie was smiling amusingly. Nagtitinginan sila ni Vaughn na parang tatawa-tawa. Tapos sya parang kinikilig na ewan. We're currently having lunch in a nipa hut resto.
"What? Stop smiling like that. You look like a psycho." Tyler told her coldly as he took a bite of the salad he's eating. Nakakunot pa ang kilay nya.
