You were impulsive, sure, that comes with the lifestyle you lead so there's really no surprise there. Going in for another round on the second train with multiple injuries and a freaking hole in your shoulder might've been a little brazen, but you have got to be yourself.

Except this time, you slipped inside from the top just before hitting the tunnel because you were running late on schedule.

"Hello, hello!" You shouted, greeting the train car full of Hydra agents.

You grabbed at the gun first pointed and yanked it down, swinging to kick him in the face and then turning to shoot the same gun at a few who started charging forward once they processed the unwarranted attack. You ran up the wall and backflipped onto the table, ripping your glove off with your teeth before pressing your hand to the wall next to you. The train's brakes immediately started to screech, throwing everyone back by the sudden jerk. You rolled onto the floor, under the same table and swiped a gun that had gotten lost in the scuffle, shooting at anyone who moved. You then stood up, surveying the room and shooting every single head you saw, whether they were already dead or not, you wanted to be thorough.

You holstered your gun and turned to head to another car before you heard a noise behind you. You tensed, your hand hovering over your gun and just as you spun around with it pulled, you were shot with some electrical pulse.

"Fuck." You hissed, falling to the floor and feeling paralyzed.

Your gun was less than a foot from your reach and your eyes darted to it, but your arm wouldn't move for the life of you. You squeezed your eyes shut, trying with all your strength to get to it, but the man was already heading your way. He must've hid when you first got here because you know if you saw him, he'd be dead.

"Rogers," You whispered as he climbed over his fallen comrades, "Rogers, I'm down, send Barnes in for explosives."

He started chuckling as he approached, speaking in Russian you assumed, but you couldn't understand him, and the electrical gun he held was charging up before he lifted it towards your face.

You focused on the pulses surrounding your body and the one that was about to hit you. It hurt like hell, but you pushed it off you using your powers and the second he shot out, his face showed shock and regret.

You threw the pulse back at him, hitting the shot he took, and he flew back almost in slow motion. His body thrusted against the back of the train car and he fell lifeless to the floor.

"That's new." You muttered, grabbing your earpiece out of your ear and chucking it off to the side, realizing the pulse destroyed it.

You picked up a gun and made sure it was loaded before shrugging, kicking the door down. You felt this new sense of power and you knew it was probably just left over from the shot, but it could come in handy for this trip.

The next car was just for cargo, so you rushed through, noticing something interesting on the side of the crates, but you didn't have time to stop and investigate right now. The next car held the explosives and oddly, there weren't any agents lying in wait. You placed the magnetic timer on the side and climbed up onto the roof since the tunnel was long gone now.

Instead of waiting for Sam to pick you up, you ran towards him and jumped as high as you could, shocking you both with the distance you managed.

He didn't say anything until you were both safe on the Quinjet and watched the train explode off the side.

"How'd you do that?"

"I don't know," You smiled down at your hands, putting the glove back on, and then peering over at him, "But it was awesome, right?"
