"You can't ignore me for a week and then ask for a favor."

"But-"

"It doesn't work that way!"

"You're the one who pulled a dick move!" You argued desperately.

"And I've apologized for it," He sighed, shaking his head, "It was outta line and I shouldn't have done it. I've texted you and even dropped messages off, but you refused to talk to me."

"We're talking now."

"Yeah," He huffed, "Because you need to go to Philly and it's way outta your radius."

"I will fully forgive you and even help you with your kissing game if you get them to take my anklet off for just two days."

He looked extremely offended by the comment about him needing help, but then something seemed to occur to him, and he actually had a hint of a smirk, crossing his arms.

"I'll see what I can do."

This dude can't seem to stop surprising you.

You hung out in the living room a few hours later when he was meeting with Fury to discuss a temporary release and Wanda was already in there watching TV when you came in.

"You're nervous." She observed out loud, her eyes still glued to the screen, and her accent thick with the words.

"Me?" You scoffed, ceasing the tapping of your leg, "Nah."

You texted Mozzy, or Dante Haversham, letting him know that you were waiting to find out if you'd be able to get to Pennsylvania this weekend.

The safe house where your brother is hiding out in is located in Pittsburgh, but you figured Pennsylvania is Pennsylvania and if these people believe you're in one city while you're really a few over, what's the difference? You agreed to come back after the two days and you wouldn't use your powers or hurt anyone, so it really doesn't matter what you do in that forty-eight hours. Surprisingly, Steve didn't ask why you wanted to go, and if they did, you'd just make up some excuse like you always wanted to see that city and you were restless. Maybe throw in a few museums or national monuments and you'd be good to go.

"He agreed," Steve broke you from your thoughts, speaking up from behind, and you whipped around, jumping up excitedly before he added, "And guess who gets to bring you?"

Your face fell and he looked hurt when he instantly noticed you weren't as happy.

"Fury believes Steve's a 'good influence' on you." Wanda mumbled in explanation when you didn't say anything.

"I can't go alone?"

"He would only agree to it this way."

"Okay," You nodded, masking your disappointment with a huge, fake smile, "Thanks, Steve, and I'm sure we'll have a good time!"

They both knew you weren't being genuine, especially with how you used his first name, but didn't mention it as you went back to your room, updating Mozzy and telling him that you'd get there it just might be a little more complicated.

You started packing for the weekend trip when there was a knock on the door.

"Entré!" You shouted with a smirk and the door slowly opened.

"Hey."

It was Wanda and you spun around to face her with a smile, knowing she was somebody you've kind of gotten along with in the past month or so. Very few people in the tower actually took a real liking to you, and besides Peter, she was one of the first that was more your age. The only downside to this friendship was that she didn't need her powers to read you like a book and could often tell when you were lying. But she did admit to not trusting you in the beginning, only some of that having to do with your past and regretted it as soon as you opened up to her a bit.
