I paid a regular visit to my grandpa today, and it seems like he's been recovering quite well. I brought him some fruits and flowers, nothing out of the ordinary. As I was in his room, my phone started vibrating, and I quickly checked the caller ID. It was Mr. Bakshi.

Curious, I answered the call and asked, "Yes, what is it?"

"Miss, Mr. Singhania from the Aggrandise enterprise wants to pay a visit to the president," Mr. Bakshi informed me.

Mr. Singhania, as in Adhrit's father? He's one of the most successful businessmen out there, and if I remember correctly,
he has some beneficial deals with our company.

Maybe that's why he's here because of my grandpa's hospitalization. Regardless of the reason, it's clear that he's not concerned about my grandfather's well-being.

Unfortunately, I can't push him away since he has control over powerful business entities. I have no choice but to oblige to his request.

"Miss?" Mr. Bakshi questioned, bringing me back to the conversation.

"Yes, um... let him pay a visit," I replied reluctantly.

"Okay," he said before ending the call. I entered my grandpa's hospital room and informed him about Mr. Singhania's visit.

I waited outside the room to welcome him. Soon enough, I spotted a middle-aged man approaching me, accompanied by Mr. Bakshi and surrounded by bodyguards.
As he stood in front of me, I couldn't help but notice the resemblance between him and Adhrit, although their eyes had a different aura.

I introduced myself to Mr. Singhania and extended my hand for a handshake.

He accepted my gesture warmly and we shook hands. After exchanging pleasantries, I guided him inside my grandfather's room.

I waited outside, unsure of the nature of their conversation but unable to leave the premises.

Eventually, Mr. Singhania emerged from the room, flashing a smile at me.

"Hope to see you soon," he said before departing with his bodyguards close behind.

I couldn't comprehend his intentions, for sharing those words.

"Miss, I'll update you on the progress by tomorrow," Mr. Bakshi informed me.

"I don't think we'll need it, but since you've worked hard, it might prove beneficial someday. Please do give it to me," I responded, standing up and making my way back to my grandfather's room.

However, he appeared to be asleep, so I headed towards the office instead

Upon arrival, I checked through some documents.
I wrapped up my work pretty late, after most of the employees had already left, although a few were still around.

I drove over to the mansion to freshen up. As I was driving, I received a call from the hospital that made my heart skip a beat.

I quickly pulled over, answered the phone, and heard, "Is this Miss Arora?"

"Yes," I replied, feeling my heart race.

The hospital staff informed me, "Your grandfather's condition has worsened, we need you here urgently."

"I'll be there," I assured them before hanging up, starting my car, and heading towards the hospital.

I was breathing heavily, my mouth felt dry, and I rushed to his room.

"Nurse, how is he?" I inquired, still trying to catch my breath.

"We're not sure how his condition deteriorated so suddenly, he was fine until midnight. The doctors are investigating and will update you soon," she explained.
