"I haven't received a response from you yet, but I suspect you may believe it's a joke. However, I assure you it's not. If you're genuinely interested in learning something crucial about Alok Chopra, I strongly advise against disregarding this message. Meet me at Cathedral Café at 2 p.m. I'll be eagerly waiting for you."

After reading the message, I realized I had completely forgotten about it. Although I was a bit sceptical about the person's honesty, I decided there was no harm in finally getting to the bottom of it all. And with that thought, I drifted off to sleep.

As I sat tied to the chair, enveloped by darkness, my hands and legs bound, and my mouth sealed shut with tape, I struggled in vain to break free.

A chilling voice whispered, "Hush there, my little nephew."

My blood ran cold as I recognized the voice all too well. Slowly, his figure emerged from the shadows, his face coming into view.
Despite my attempts to escape, he brandished a knife, inching closer with a menacing look in his eyes.
With the sharp edge of the blade against my throat, he uttered,

"It's either do or die," in a demonic tone that sent shivers down my spine. As he reached out to touch me, I squirmed desperately, gasping for air.

When I awoke with a start, drenched in sweat and heart racing, I realized it was just a nightmare.

I gulped down water from a nearby table, trying to calm my nerves. It wasn't sleep paralysis, but the terror felt just as real.

Clutching the bottle, I was startled when the door creaked open to reveal Adhrit, clad in a white t-shirt and grey pants, his dishevelled hair and glasses adding to his appearance.

We locked eyes in silence.

"Why are you awake?" he inquired, breaking the silence.

Curiosity sparked within me as I responded, "What are you doing here?" His throat cleared, and his gaze met mine.

"I wanted to check up on you, see if you were having trouble sleeping," he explained.

I couldn't help but wonder when he had become so considerate towards me.

"Are you experiencing sleep paralysis again?" he asked, his concern evident.

As he noticed my slight perspiration, he inquired further, "Are you sweating?"

I absentmindedly rubbed my forehead and replied, "Yes, just a little."

Placing the bottle aside, I felt the bed dip on the other side. I looked at Adhrit, bewildered.

"What? Why are you..." I began, but he interrupted me.

"Why is it so difficult for you to seek help?" he questioned, removing his glasses. "If you think I'm forcing myself by wanting to share my room, then I'll stay here," he declared, placing pillows between us.

He was making it increasingly challenging for me to view him solely as a crush; our connection was evolving beyond that.

I found myself simply staring at him.
He lay down on the bed and extended his left hand, revealing a watch on his wrist.

He was undeniably responsible, which made sense considering he ran a successful company. I couldn't help but smile at him.

"Are you sure about sleeping here?" I inquired, curious about his presence

"I am feeling sleepy," he replied, closing his eyes.

Intrigued, I decided to join him, clasping his hand in mine and shutting my eyes.
The scent of his cologne filled the air; it was wonderfully intoxicating.
