After freshening up, I grabbed a towel and began to dry my hair as I made my way to the room where Adhrit typically works.
The lights were on, piquing my curiosity.
Peeking inside, I found Adhrit deeply absorbed in his laptop. His focus made him look incredibly attractive-the version of Adhrit that I truly admire.
Suddenly, he lifted his gaze from the screen, and our eyes met.
He smiled at me, asking, "What are you doing here?"
I responded, "Oh, I was just thinking. Aren't you going to sleep?"
Just as he was about to answer, a notification popped up on his laptop, pulling his attention back.
A moment later, he glanced my way again and said, "I'm sorry, but I have some work to finish. You go on ahead; I'll wrap this up quickly and join you."
He smiled as he spoke, and I nodded, leaving the room.
Oddly enough, I felt a wave of melancholy wash over me when he said he would join me later. It was as if I longed to curl up beside him and drift off to sleep. I can't help it; it's hard not to feel this way when he behaves so charmingly.
Before I knew it, I had settled into bed and was fast asleep, my head resting on the pillow..

.I opened my eyes, the early morning light filtering through the window.
Today marked the end of my internship, a bittersweet moment. While I felt relief at reaching this milestone, I couldn't shake the sadness of parting ways with Miss Bhatt and Mrs. Gupta.
Then there was Yash-ever since that incident, our conversations had been strained. I made a mental note to apologize for any hurt I may have caused him.
Just as I was about to move, I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me from behind. It was Adhrit.
I placed my hand over him, gently removing his arm so I could turn to see him.
He was sleeping soundly, looking almost too perfect.
My fingers swept through his hair, and suddenly, I craved the comfort of his embrace. I leaned in and hugged him tightly, burying my face against his chest.
I could feel his hand resting on my back, providing an inexplicable sense of ease.
Yet, I wondered what tasks he had on his mind. Perhaps he was looking to explore something new.
For now, though, I wanted to linger in this cosy cocoon a little longer.A brief extension of slumber wouldn't hurt-just five more minutes.
His soothing scent drew me in, and I quickly drifted back into a peaceful sleep.

.My eyes snapped open and I jolted upright in bed.
Expletives escaped my lips as I glanced at my phone - 7:30 a.m.
I had a mere 30 minutes before I needed to be at the office.
Adhrit was nowhere to be found. With no time to search for him, I briskly made my way to the bathroom.
Emerging shortly after, I quickly dressed and hurried downstairs towards the door.To my surprise, there stood Adhrit by the entrance, almost as if he was waiting for me.
"What are you doing here?" I inquired, to which he responded with an air of entitlement,
"I mean, this house is as much mine as it is yours, so I believe I have every right to be here."
His handsome face amused me, making it hard to stay mad.
