As I sat in the car, Adhrit by my side and a chauffeur at the wheel, I couldn't help but admire the luxurious and spacious company vehicle.

Glancing over at Adhrit, who was deeply engrossed in a file, I let out a sigh and turned my attention to the window.

I had no idea where we were supposed to be heading. I was merely filling in for Mr. Reedy.

Unable to contain my curiosity any longer, I peered at Adhrit and asked,

"Where exactly are we going?" Much to my frustration, he remained silent.

I let out another exasperated sigh and mustered up the courage to ask once more, "Sir, may I please know our destination?" He finally looked up from his file, his pen still in hand, and replied,

"We're heading to a meeting." He then returned his focus to the file, leaving me feeling both informed and somewhat annoyed.

A very useful information!!

Rolling my eyes, I glanced outside once again, realizing that it was pointless to seek further answers from him.

Soon we reached our destination.

I gazed upon the magnificent structure before me, the words "Eden Garden - the premium business hotel" were boldly displayed.

This was truly one of the finest business hotels around, and I couldn't help but be captivated by its beauty. It exuded elegance in every way imaginable.

Suddenly, Adhrit snapped me out of my trance with his remark. "Are you just going to stand there and stare at the building?" he quipped, bringing me back to reality.

"No, I'm coming," I replied, making my way towards him. Yet, the allure of the building still lingered in my eyes.

He glanced at me for a moment before proceeding inside, and I followed closely behind. The receptionist led us to the table where Adhrit was scheduled to have his meeting.

But as we approached the table, all colour drained from my face.

Seeing Gina and Mr Rathore there, I couldn't help but question whether I should continue following Adhrit.

What was Mr. Rathore doing here?

Suddenly, my enthusiasm waned, but I had no other choice but to stay by Adhrit's side.

Adhrit extended his hand and exchanged greetings with Mr. Rathore, while Gina smiled at him affectionately.

I wished I could wipe that smile off her face. As they continued with their pleasantries, Mr Rathore happened to recognize me.

"Ah, you must be Miss Arora, the granddaughter of Arora Enterprise. I remember seeing you at parties when you were just a child," he remarked, catching me off guard.

I smiled and nodded in response.

"I can't thank you enough for saving my daughter that day. If it weren't for you, I don't know what would have happened," he expressed gratefully, taking hold of my hand.

"Oh, it wasn't a big deal. Anyone would have helped," I insisted, attempting to free my hand.

"But it wasn't anyone, but you," Gina chimed in, her father nodding in agreement. "That's why I had Adhrit bring you here when I found out you were working in his company," Mr. Rathore explained, finally releasing my hand.

Gina motioned for me to take a seat, and I found myself sitting next to Mr. Rathore.

I don't know why, but I instantly felt uneasy in his presence.
