As I was preparing to exit the mall, I suddenly heard my name bellowed from a distance.

I spun around only to see Yuvraj making his way towards me.

"You got here early?" I teased.

"Apologies, I had some errands to run," he replied, glancing at his watch.

"I see..." I grinned at him.

"You, on the other hand, seem to have arrived quite early," he remarked, eyeing me from head to toe. "And Sana, why the casual attire?" I looked down at my outfit - a red floral printed crop top with a square neckline and puffed short sleeves paired with black pants.

"Well, what else should I have worn?" I inquired as he shifted his gaze.

"Nothing, it's fine," he replied, swiftly changing the subject.

"So, where to next?" I asked.

"First things first - let's start with a classic. How about catching a movie?" Yuvraj suggested, holding up the movie ticket.

Interestingly, memories flooded back as I thought about the times I used to dissect Adhrit's favourite films and dreamt of watching them with him someday.

"Alright, let's go," I said, lost in nostalgia, as I glanced at the movie ticket in Yuvraj's grasp.

"Oh, this is the movie everyone warned me about!" I exclaimed as I took the ticket from him.

"Well, I thought you might enjoy it," he said proudly. "Shall we go then?" he asked, taking my hand and leading me into the theatre.

As we sat down with popcorn, the movie turned out to be just as bad as I had heard, filled with nothing but kissing and vulgar scenes.

I looked around and saw other couples making out as well, feeling more uncomfortable by the minute.

I turned to Yuvraj, intending to ask him to leave with me, but before I could say anything, he tried to kiss me.

What is wrong with him??

I pushed him away and quickly ran out of the theatre, feeling relieved as I caught my breath.

"Why did you do that?" Yuvraj asked as he caught up to me.

"Do what?" I replied, puzzled.

"You pushed me aside," he pointed out.

"I was feeling uncomfortable inside, I needed some fresh air," I explained, realising he might want to go back in to watch the rest of the movie. "Let's just continue our date outside, shall we?" I suggested, walking away without waiting for his response.

After the movie, we went to a fancy restaurant in his luxurious car, where he insisted on feeding me despite my initial hesitation.

"How does it taste?" he asked eagerly.

"Delicious," I murmured, glancing slightly aside and trying to figure out an escape plan from this situation - which seemed nearly impossible.

Somehow, I managed to finish my meal with him on his phone, talking to who-knows-who, but he was apologising for today.

"If you're busy, you can go on ahead," I suggested.

"No, I'm here for you today. I'll spend this day entirely with you," he said with a lopsided smile.

Oh, how badly I wanted us to go our separate ways. And so, we went window shopping, and he went on and on about how people tend to buy ridiculously cheap things, criticising our society's taste.
