I took a moment to survey the spread of dishes I had prepared and murmured, "I think this should do."

Doubts began to creep in, prompting me to ask myself if I had gone over the top. Shaking my head, I reassured myself,

"Not really. Even this might not be too much for him."

I packed everything up, a smile tugging at my lips. Just then, Tanya's mother entered the kitchen, her voice filled with curiosity.

"My goodness, you've been cooking forever! Are you almost finished?"

"Hi, Auntie! I just wrapped it up," I replied cheerfully.

"Is this for Adhrit?" she inquired, a warm smile lighting up her face as she joined me.

"Yes, it's for him. He's returning from his business trip," I affirmed with a nod.

"Oh, I heard Mr. Arora mention that!" she said, and I couldn't help but grin.

She shifted her stance, letting out a soft sigh before looking at me with a smile. "It's incredible how the time has flown. You're tying the knot in just five days!"

"I know, right? It's surreal!" I said, reflecting on the journey so far.

"I never imagined that something as unexpected as our contract marriage would lead to such genuine feelings." I turned toward her and added, "You know, Auntie, I always believed Adhrit would make a great partner. But experiencing his love firsthand—you know how happy it makes me that he chose me." She smiled back at me, understanding the joy in my heart.

"I see how deeply in love you are. However, I think it's important to realize that Adhrit feels just as overjoyed to have you in his life. He truly puts his heart into everything he does for you, and I can see the same devotion in you," she remarked, covering her mouth with her hands in delight.

"Oh my goodness, you two are truly a picture of love! I sincerely hope that you remain like this forever," she added, gently resting her palm on my head and then caressing my cheeks.

"I really must be going now, Aunt. I'll catch up with you later," I replied as I got up to change my clothes.

I'm currently sitting in Adhrit's office, but he hasn't arrived yet. A woman who introduced herself as his general manager showed me in and asked me to wait since Adhrit was out for a business meeting.

I had assumed I would be meeting him in the evening when he would be at his desk, but it seems my plans never quite work out as I hope.
I let out a sigh, reflecting on that.

Still, I'm pleased to be here because I had the chance to catch up with Mrs. Gupta and Miss Bhatt, which has made the visit worthwhile.

I glanced at the clock, noticing it was eleven o'clock, and realized how busy he was.

My concern for his health nagged at me—does he ever take a moment to breathe? It seems unlikely.
What drives him to tackle so much before the wedding?

While I understand he's aiming to lighten his load, that doesn't give him a free pass to exhaust himself completely. I worry he might just crash on our big day.
Given how things are progressing, he truly needs to slow down.
