3. Why do you want to leave?

I got dress and then Nate text to say he is in front, I took my purse and went outside. He doesn't get out to open the door for me and I slid in. "Hey" I greet him and he smiles. "Hey princess, you look nice." He say giving me a kiss and I smile. We drove in silence, I was so nervous I did not know what to do, how is Nate going to react to me being gone most of the year. We got to the restaurant and we sat at the table. "So how was your family?" I ask sipping the water. "They are all good." He say looking at the menu. How was your day?" He ask looking up at me. "It was good I had lunch with my brother." I say leaving out the part that Lando was also there. He nods and then the waiter came and we gave her our order. We talked a bit mostly about his studies and the part time job he got at a well-known law firm.

"So I have news." I say and my stomach was in knots. "Okay" he say frowning. "Well my brother got me a job in F1." I say and he frowns. "What kind of job?" he ask "Well basically I am going to be a photographer for the whole grid." I say smiling. He keeps quiet for a bit and then he say. "So you have to travel with them and take the drivers pictures?" and I nod. "And I will be taking pictures of the races and stuff." He did not look impress. "So you will be gone half the year?" He ask and I can hear he is angry. I nod again and thank god the waitress came to give us our meal. When she left I look up at Nate and he is just looking at me. "Why do you want to leave, are you not happy with me? With your life here in Monaco?" He ask. I took a deep breath and then answer. "I am not leaving Nate, they do get off after every race so I will be back every change I get and you can maybe come see a race or 2." I say and he just shake his head finishing his drink and asking for another one.

"What about your study's Bell?" he ask and I look up. "Well I already switch all my classes to online so will be studying online. "So what you are saying is you already made your choice, without considering what I have to say?" He say very angry now. "Nate, this is really an opportunity I can't say no to, it will be very good for my portfolio and I get paid doing it." I say feeling sad that he cannot support me. "Do you think your brother did this because he doesn't like me?" He ask and I look up at him frowning. "What do you mean?" "Well he did come up to me at the party and he did tell me if I break your heart he will break my bones." he say and I can't help but smile that is Carlos for you. "No, he is just being a big brother, and besides he knows I wanted to work in F1 for so long so he just made it happen." I say and I started eating my salad, I am so over this conversation. "So when are you leaving?" He ask and I look at him. "Monday". "I see" is all he say and we ate in silence.

When we were done I ask him if he wanted to spend the night and he agreed. I poured us some wine and we sat on the sofa, I can feel the tension in the room. "Can you please just support me and be happy for me?" I ask him finally looking at him. "Bell, I will always support you, but it feels like you are running away from me." He say making it about him as always. "That's not true and you know it, you know more about me than I know about you Nate, why do you never talk about your family huh?" I ask getting really tired of him always playing the victim, cant he just be happy for me? I can see a flash of anger in his eyes and then he smiles and tuck a piece of hair behind my ear. "You know I don't like to talk about my parents Princess, and belief me they are not that interesting." I just look at my hands and stood up. "I am going to bed" I say walking to my room. I went to the bathroom and took off my dress and put on my Pj's, I removed my makeup and then got in bed. Nate walks in and he takes off his shirt and shoes and got into bed.

We lay there not saying anything. "I am sorry Princess, I am happy for you I will just miss you that is all." He finally say pulling me closer to him. "I'm sorry too." I say and he kisses my neck. "I don't want us to fight before I leave." I say turning around to look at him. He nods his head and then he kisses me, soon the kiss got intense and he pulls my shirt over my head. He was lying on top of me and just kissed me. He moves down my body and then removed my pants. "I am going to miss you" he say kissing my thighs. "I am going to miss you too" I say my hands in his hair. He started sucking me and I tried really hard to be in the moment. "I need you in me." I say before even reaching my orgasm. He smiles and told me to turn around. One thing about Nate that was not perfect is he only cared about himself when it came to sex and for some reason he was always so rough with me.
