47. Dinner with friends

We were lazy the rest of the day at least he did not stream again and I enjoyed having Lando like this, all to myself. I just got out of the shower looking for something to wear. "So this Drew he is older than us no?" Lando ask and I nod putting on makeup. "He is but he is really cool, I think you and him will get along well." I say and he nods tying his shoes, he stood up and came to stand behind me. "Why is it when I leave you alone you are always attracting rich and famous men?" he ask wrapping his arms around my waist. "I don't" I say fixing my lipstick and he laugh. "First Mick and now Drew" he say looking at me through the mirror. I roll my eyes and turn around, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Well at the end of the day I will only come home with one rich and famous and hot man." I say kissing his lips and he smiles. "You better" he say walking out of the room and I giggle.

We drove to the restaurant and Lando open the door for me, he was holding my hand as we stepped in and I see Drew and Odessa already sitting, they smile when they see us and I greeted them with a hug. I introduced them to Lando and we sat down. "So how is it driving fast cars for a living?" Drew ask Lando after the drinks came and Lando smile. "Amazing, I am living my dream every day." he say and Drew smile. "I can just think must be such a rush." he say and Lando nods, "It is, when you are in Miami I would take you in one of the McLarens around the track." Lando say to Drew and he smiled like a little kid, I stopped listening to them and chatted with Odessa. We had a great evening laughing a lot, Drew was telling stories about his time on set and that is how he and Odessa met. They really did look happy.

Afterwards Lando and Drew decided they want to go to a club and we agreed, I had classes tomorrow but at least my first class starts at 1 so I will be fine. We drove to one of the clubs we always visit and we walked to the VIP section, they know Lando and of course Drew. We ordered drinks and sat just chatting, more like shouting over the music, me and Odessa decided to go dance, "Looks like they are getting a long yeah?" I ask her and she look at the two men chatting. "Yes, why were you worried?" she ask and I nod. "I was Lando can be jealous sometimes." I say and she laugh. "Don't worry Drew is the same." I nod and we dance for a few more songs. We got tired and joined the boys on the sofa again and Lando smiled at me putting his hand on my leg. I listen to them talk and I smiled, I liked it when Lando gets along with my friends. We have discussed that Lando will get us all a private plane so we can all fly out on Thursday, he is leaving on Wednesday already, I still had classes and a test, and otherwise I would have left with him.

We got home just after 2 that morning and I was tired and my feet hurt. I sat on the bed taking of my shoes. "So I really like Drew he is a nice guy." Lando say pulling of his shirt and I smile. "I told you." I say and he laugh walking to me, he lift my chin so that I look up at him and he kiss me. "I know you are always right." he say and I giggle, I walked to the bathroom and took off my makeup and then grabbed one of his shirt and got in bed. We cuddle up together. "So this weekend we are moving your stuff?" he ask and I nod. "Yeah, I am already living here basically just my stuff." I say and he smile. "I like that you are staying here." I smile and kiss him. "I was thinking of calling my dad tomorrow." I say looking at Lando and he looks surprise. "I miss him and this has been the longest I haven't spoken to him and I hate it." I say and he nods kissing my head. "That sounds like a good idea baby." he say and I smile.

The next morning I sat on the balcony and I decided to phone my dad, the phone rang a few times and I thought he wasn't going to answer, he finally does. "Isabella" he answer and I frown, no nickname. "Hi papa" I say and I hear him sigh. "How are you?" I ask. "I am good and you?" "Good, just busy with classes and moving." I say and he is quiet. "Mi Novia you know you do not need to move, I will always pay for your apartment." he say and I smile. "I know, but its better that way." I say and he is quiet. "How is Mama?" I ask because he is clearly not going to talk. "She is good missing you." he say and I feel sad. "I miss her too and you." I say and he is quiet again. "I am sorry for everything that happened, I know you did that for me." I say and it was quiet for a long time, "I am sorry too Mi Novia, I will never disown you, you are my smart, beautiful baby girl I will never disown my own blood." he say and I smile. "Can I talk to Mama?" I ask and I hear him stand up and shout in Spanish to her.

"Isa, my girl how are you." "Hi mama, I am good and you?" "Good I just miss you" "I miss you too mama" I say and I can hear she is crying. We talked a little bit more on the phone and then she gave the phone back to my dad, I told him about my plans of moving my classes to online again and on the off weeks I will attend classes, he was not very happy but I think he just accepted it not to fight. I see its past 12 and I need to go. "Okay I have class at 1 so I need to go, I love you papa and I miss you." I say wiping a tear feeling so much better that we made up. "I love you too Isa, have a good day." we hang up and I sigh standing up, Lando is standing in the kitchen and I smile. "All good with your parents?" he ask and I nod walking to him and wrap my arms around his waist hugging him. "Now just Carlos" I say and he lift his eyebrows in surprise. "I will invite him to lunch so we can talk." I say getting my things.

"I have to go, so I will see you later." I say kissing him and he kiss me back. I walked to classes feeling relieved. I texted Carlos and he agreed to meet me at 3 at the campus. Classes went by fast and I walked to the cafeteria, I see my brother taking photos and signing things and I smile, he waved to his fans and he walked to me as he saw me. "Isa, how are you?" he say giving me a hug and I smile. We sat down and I order a salad. "So I talked to papa and mama" I say and he looks surprise. "That's good no?" he ask and I nod. I told him about my plans and he smile, "I am sorry for everything I said Isa." He say and I smile. "I am also sorry, I missed you" I say and he take my hand and squeeze it. We chatted some more and then I had to go again, he promised he will come help me move and I thanked him.

I walked to classes feeling light and happy, it was going good with my parents and Lando and I feel like I can breathe again.
