13. I am sorry

We were quiet the whole ride and when we walked into his apartment I took off my shoes and sat on the sofa, Lando brings us water and I smiled at him. "I am sorry about Nate." I tell Lando and he smiles, "Well at least you hold my hand in public." he say and I burst out laughing slapping his shoulder. "It's not your fault Bella, he is a fucking asshole." Lando say sipping his water and I nod. "Thanks for standing up for me." I say leaning my head on the back of the sofa looking at him and he smiles. "Always, no one gets to talk to my girl like that." he say tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "Your girl huh?" I ask smiling. He leans in and kiss me, I will never get tired of his kisses. "Yeah, we might not be public, but you are my girl already baby." he say looking at me and I smile

We were just lying in bed my head on his chest, I know we are supposed to be friends with benefits, but I enjoy this time with him. "What do you think Carlos will say, when he find out we have been sleeping together?" I ask Lando looking up at him and he shrugs. "He will have to get used to it" he say and I just nod laying back playing with his fingers. "I was thinking of visiting my parents next week in Spain." I say and Lando doesn't say anything I look up and I can see he is frowning. "Are you okay?" I ask him and he nods, "Yeah just wish I could come with you." he say and I smile kissing him. "You can always ask Carlos if you can visit him and they won't suspect a thing." I say and I can see his eyes light up. "And you would be fine with it?" "Yeah we will just have to be careful and I think you will be staying at Carlos so we won't see each other that much." "Okay I am going to phone him tomorrow." he say and I smile

"You know I really want to get to know you too Lando, and spending time together that is how we will be able to do so." I say and he nod. "You just don't want to go public or be my girlfriend?" he ask and I nod looking at our hands that fits so good together. "Not just yet, for the girlfriend part." I say and he frown "and the public side?" he ask and I shake my head. "Never will I be able to be public." I say and he sit up and I do too. "You know Bella, if we ever decide to start dating that is a part of my life, and if we never can go public how will that work, we will be all over each other in private but in public we will pretend not to know each other?" I just look at my hands and then at him, I can see he is disappointed and I say. "I am not ready for any hate, and dating you will get me a lot of hate, I also don't want people digging into my past or my life." I say and he nods. "I understand but will love not conquer it all in the end?"

I look up at him surprise. "Love?" I ask and he blushes, "Lando we barley know each other we can't love each other yet." I say and he just nod. "I am definitely in love with you Bella, that I know." he say laying back down and I did not know how to reply, did I feel the same? I don't think so I enjoy Lando's company that is for sure but love? That is a big word. I lay down and Lando pull me to his chest again. "I will wait for you to fall in love Bella don't worry." he say kissing my head and I just nod, how did it all change so fast between us. "So how will it work in Saudi?" Lando ask and I frown. "What do you mean?" "So we are going to act not to know each other or are we going to at least pretend to be friends." "We can be friendly with each other but no touching or kissing in public." I say and he just nods.

I fell asleep and when I woke up I see Lando was still sleeping I decided to call my parents and I walked to the kitchen making coffee. "Hey mama, how are you?" I ask as my mom answers the phone. "Isa, my love I am good and you?" "Good, I was phoning to hear if it would be okay if I come and visit you guys next week?" "Of course, this is your house my love and you are always welcome." I smiled I can't wait to see my parents again. We spoke a little longer and then I told her I will let her know when I will be flying out, and she said my dad or brother will come get me at the airport. I hanged up and made coffee, Lando walks in without a shirt and just his sweatpants hanging low, "Morning" I say and I gave him the coffee I made and turn to make another cup. "Morning, beautiful" he say kissing me on my head and I smiled. "So I have booked my ticket already I am flying to Spain on Sunday" I tell him and he nods.

"I can't go anymore." he say and I frown, "Why" I ask sitting with him on the sofa. "Max texted we have some work for Quadrant to do next week." I nod and it was quiet between us. "Are you going to miss me?" Lando ask and I look at him smiling. "I don't know yet." I say and he starts laughing. He kisses me and then I told him I need to go I had some work for my studies to do. I took a quick shower and put on the same clothes as last night. He walked me to the door when the Uber let me know they are here. "Promise me we will see each other again before you leave for Spain?" He say and I smile wrapping my arms around his neck. "Of course, how about you come over to my place for dinner tomorrow night?" I ask and he has the biggest smile. I kissed him and then left to my apartment.

I dressed in something comfortable and took my laptop, ready to work the whole day on my assignments. I was working for a while and stood up to get something to eat. I made myself a sandwich and decided to scroll through Instagram. When I saw the post. Fuck, I thought sitting up straighter

Lando Norris and Isabella Saintz, sister of Carlos Saintz seen parting at a club last night, afterwards there was an altercation between Lando and an unknown gentleman, Isabella and Lando has been seen holding hands, is she going to be the new WAG? Fuck I thought and I ran my hands through my hair, just then my phone rang and I see it's my brother, he was facetiming me. "Hey Carlos" I answer, "Hi Isa, so I saw Instagram." he say and I just nod. "Is that Nate, Lando is fighting with in front of the club?" he ask and I roll my eyes. "Yes, we broke up." I told him. "Why?" "Well he was cheating on me with Lola for 2 months now." I say and I can see he is angry. "I knew there was something off about that asshole." he say and I just nod. "So, you and Lando?" he ask again and I blush. "There is nothing going on we are just friends Carlos." I say annoyed. "I won't mind Isa, Lando is a good guy and he is my best friend." Carlos say and I look at him surprised. "I don't know, you know how I feel about being in public and the post of last night just proofed we will never have privacy." I say and he nods. "I understand Isa, but just remember you deserve to be happy." "I know" I say and he changed the subject thank god, we hanged up soon after and I just sat there surprised he is so cool about everything, I took my laptop again to finish my assignments.
