"do you.. have to go to work?" aj questioned between kisses on the girl's neck. "you could just.. quit your job.. stay here.. coming partying with me.. i could support us.. we could live happily ever after.."
"don't be stupid," liberty playfully shook her head, gently pushing him away from herself slightly.
"c'mon lilli, i'm being serious."
"i don't want to rely on guy."
"you won't be not relying on me, i'll be treating you how you should be treated."
"i like my work, and having something to do," she explained. "i'm not one who can just stay home all day."
"we'll always find something to do."
"i don't want to give it up, aj, not yet at least, im sorry," she softly frowned at him.
"can you just call in sick for today then i wanna spend it with you," he placed a few more kisses on her as he slightly shifted his body to hover over her.
"no, no, i can'ttt," she slightly dragged her words out. "i'm busy the next few weeks so i can take a couple off in april."
"where are you going?" he quickly changed his mood to a more serious one, sitting up right away.
"um home to portland for a week slash easter, then quickly back here for a bit, then to detroit for my brother's wedding, and then maybe to visit my dad in chicago for my brother's birthday," she babbled.
"you gotta see your family three times?" he furrowed.
"well i always spend easter weekend at home, celebrating my brother. then i gotta go to my other brothers wedding of course. and cause only my dad's going to the wedding, not my step-mom and their kids, he wants me and my sister to come visit them for our little brother's birthday."
"mh, a big family?"
"mhm, one of.. eleven."
"damn, you want that many? we better get to work," he chuckled, placing his hand on her neck, pulling her towards him.
"no," she softly laughed. "two or four, depending on circumstances. and not till i'm older."
"maybe we could practice now then," he connected his lips onto hers as his other hand wandered.
letting it go on for a couple seconds, she pulled away once again, and said; "i gotta shower before work, aj.."
"we can take this to the shower then," he pulled her back in.
"aj!" she playfully exclaimed. "i appreciate the attachment-ness but i need some time to myself, please?"
"alright but you owe me later."
"mh okay."
placing a quick kiss on his lips to keep him somewhat happy, liberty hopped out of bed. she grabbed her tote which she had brought over the previous day with a few clothes in it, and headed into the ensuite, locking the door behind herself.
it had only been a few days since meeting and they were still getting to know each other, but liberty was enjoying having someone to spend time with, and she liked that he always wanted her around.
although, she wasn't being her completely honest and comfortable self around him. she's been feeling constantly drained and unwell due to the lack of sleep and minimal food intake — but she wouldn't ever admit that.
all doubts she had only days ago had now left her mind and have become forgotten thoughts. all that consumed her now was about how he could maybe be the one..

anyway i'm seeing daniel in november!!!!! i don't think i've ever been more excited!!! (other than when i saw wdw obvi)
