"what the fuck lilli!" aj screamed, quickly sitting up and turn towards the girl who was still asleep beside him and harshly shoving her. "wake the fuck up!"
"huh," she inaudibly groaned as she rolled around to face him.
"what the fuck is this?!" he shoved his bright phone screen in her face, pulling her head back in shock as her eyes adjusted to it. "is this daniel," saying the boys name in a mocking way. "your fucking ex boyfriend?!"
she frozen for a second as thought — there was no way out of this — she subtly nodded, "he.. he's my best friend.."
"your best friend is a guy that you fucking dated?!"
"we've been friends our whole life.. we just dated for a bit because our parents wanted us to.."
"where's your fucking phone?!" he ignored her response, holding his hand out for it. "give it to me!"
watching her closely as she lifted her head up, she slightly rolled back as she felt around for it and then finding it under the pillow.
"why the fuck are you trying to hide it from me!" he somehow managed to raised his voice even more than he was already speaking.
"i wasn't.. i just fell asleep with it on the bed.." liberty softly spoke, handing her phone over to him without any hesitation. "aj.."
"what?!"
"you can't delete the post.. or unfollow him.. that's all i ask-"
"you're making it out like you're fucking in love with him!"
"no- i just- i love him as a friend, he has a girlfriend.." she defended. "you can't do anything to the post, please aj.."
"why?" he finally brought her attention to her. "give me one good fucking reason."
"because he's got a lot of fans who think everything that's posted online equals reality.. so if i didn't post it would've been like the world was ending in their fandom.. and it's going to cause so many rumours and drama if it gets removed- my parents will even be questioning.. so it's best to just leave it.."
aj huffed.
"aj, i promise it means nothing," liberty added. "i promise you i only posted it to keep everyone happy and not have questions being asked."
"post a photo with me then," he threw the phone at the girl. "make it know that he mean absolutely nothing you- actually," he reached over and grabbed it back from her. "i don't want you talking to him."
since he had made her change the password to something he could remember, he unlocked her phone and went to her recent text — knowing that would be the best way to find his contact and when the last time they texted was.
"is this him?" he flashed the screen towards her. "texting him last night."
"i only said happy birthday.." she softly furrowed.
"gosh he's so desperate for you," he scoffed as he scrolled through the previous texts.
switching over to the contacts app, he search the boy's name scrolling down and blocking the number before physically deleting it from her contacts.
she knew exactly what he was doing. but she kept quiet, not wanting to anger him any further. plus she knew her best friend's phone number better than her own, so if she needed to contact him it wasn't any issue.
"any other 'best friend' ex's i should know about?" liberty shook her head in response to him. "what about that guys friend that your brother was on about?"
"i haven't spoken to him since the last time i saw him.. i ended things in a bad note, i don't think he wants to ever talk to me.."
"whatever." he huffed, throwing the device back to her. "now you can post that picture of us."
"okay," she nodded, sending him a small smile.
"make it something about me being the only guy," he muttered, getting up off the bed. "and tag me!"
"okay.."
