The traffic wasn't that bad on the way, so we arrived quickly at Donya Daphney's house. The gate was opened for us to enter their house. They were also outside the door waiting for us, I didn't see their son because only Donya Daphney, Don Crisol, and their helpers were with them. Is he really here?
When I got out of the car and saw them, dumoble ang kaba na nararamdaman ko.
Papa and Mama are fluent in speaking muslim, so maybe it's not difficult for them to have a conversation, especially when it comes to the muslim language. Ate and I, on the other hand, don't know any muslim language.
I can speak only english and filipino.
"Aisha, and the future wife of my son! Welcome to our house!" masayang bati ni Donya Daphney at nilapitan kami at niyakap, ganun rin ang ginawa namin.
"Thank you Donya Daphney. Your house is so beautiful." sabi ni Ate.
"Thank you, Do-"
"Mom, Evora. I want you to call me Mom, sinabi ko na sayo yan." sabi niya na hindi ko natuloy ang sasabihin ko.
"M-mom, Thank you for the warm welcome." sabi ko.
"My pleasure." sabi niya, bakit iba siya dito compare nung nasa bahay namin sila.
Iba yung energy niya.
Take care of him when you become her wife, okay?" sabi ni Donya Daphney.
"Does he know how to speak tagalog and english?
"Hindi po eh, i only know english and tagalog." sabi ko.
"He knows how to speak tagalog and english, but the language he mostly used is muslim...But, i want you to practice the muslim language, Evora. It's our language, you should know that." sabi niya.
