"i am a lost boy from neverland."
Annelise
I walk onto the train, laughing and talking with Jamie, the boy from the library. We've been talking all day. He's really kind, which is something I enjoy. I know that he's Jordyn's brother, but he's nicer than Mattheo!
"I'm going to go sit with my brother and Draco and their friends. See you around!" Jamie says, walking through the hallway to get to the booth area.
I nod, walking in the same direction, stopping when I spot the carriage that Louis, Jordyn, Makayla, and I always sit in. Makayla is sitting alone. I guess that Louis and Jordyn haven't made it to the train, yet.
I sit against the wall, silent. I heard what had happened between her and Cedric. It feels awkward to be near either of them.
The Weasley twins peak their heads into the carriage with large grins on their faces. Makayla rolls her eyes at the sight of teh brothers. George sits next to me as Fred sits next to Makayla. They both leave a space for Louis and Jordyn to sit.
"What do you want?" Makayla asks, irritated.
"Well, since you're staying with us for the summer," Fred starts.
"We thought you'd like to be prepared for the chaos," George smiles as Louis and Jordyn enter the carriage, annoyed that the seats are crammed together. When I look at Louis, he seems to be super upset for other reasons.
The trainride home is as chaotic as the twins promised. They talk nonstop, make jokes, and do magic tricks. It's pretty entertaining sometimes.
The train comes to a halt and students around us gather our things. I suppose it's time to depart from Jordyn and Makayal for a third summer in a row. It never gets easier.
"I guess it's time to see my new home," Makayla sighs, grabbing her things from the shelf above her head.
Fred and George smile, saying in unison, "That's the spirit!"
Makayla
I said bye to Louis, Annie, and Jordyn before meeting up with the Weasleys. They're more kind and happy than I thought they would be—something my family and I don't have.
When we get to "the burrow," Mrs. Weasley shows where my room is. Her bright smile and orange hair light up the entir eroom.
"I'll let you unpack. Supper is at eight!" she smiles and walks out.
As I unpack, I find myself admiring the beaty of the new home, the family... I feel as though I'm officially welcomed into both for the first time ever.
