"Wow!" Lucy said in astonishment as they entered the building. "It's really not that impressive," Mabel said, but no one heard her as they were all too busy looking around. "Wait here, guys," Lucas instructed. "I called in advance."

While everyone was staring at their shiny surroundings, Lucas took initiative and walked up to the front desk. "Good afternoon, I called in earlier about a tour. This the right place for those?" The woman at the desk looked past Lucas and at his friends. "Yes, sir. Are all five of you one group?" Lucas nodded. "Yes, all five of us."

The woman smiled and motioned to the hall, where another woman was waiting. "Lidia will be your tour guide for today. Please stay close to her and follow her instructions in case of an emergency." Lucas nodded politely. "Thank you, ma'am." The woman smiled. "My pleasure!"

With that settled, Lidia introduced herself the the group, and off they went. The first stop was a room that Lidia called "The Think Tank." The group entered into a large hallway of sorts while a glass wall separated them from the main room. On the other side was a team of scientists working and jotting notes on seemingly blank whiteboards. "This is the Think Tank." Lidia began. "It is where POLUT Corp's brightest minds develop and innovate new technology."

"What's with the whiteboards?" Mabel asked and Lucy, Jake, and Thane pressed their faces up against the glass. Lucas and Embit, who had jumped off Thane's shoulder and was now on Lucas' shoulder, stared. Lidia walked up to the window. "The glass is specially designed to distort light. This allows us to show off the Think Tank to the general public without any company ideas and designs being compromised. To us, the whiteboards appear blank when in reality they're not." Jake peeled his head away from the window while Thane and Lucy stayed in position, both trying to get a peak of what was being written. "This is incredible!" Jake exclaimed and Lidia smiled politely in response. Meanwhile, Mabel blushed.

Lidia motioned forward. "If you may follow me." She began as she walked to the door. Jake quickly followed behind, and Mabel was quick to catch up, shooting glances at Jake frequently. Meanwhile, Lucas had to pry Thane and Lucy away from the glass so they could follow Lidia and the others. Embit took the time to jump from Lucas' shoulder to Lucy's, much to her delight. Meanwhile, Whispup just watched.

The next room reminded Thane of a mini-factory. Like the last room, there was a glass plane separating them from the operation. Conveyer belts moved robotic Loomian parts around while machines put them together at a rapid pace. "This is one of our cybernetic Loomian assembly lines. It's small scale compared to our other ones that aren't available to view for the general public." Lidia began. While everyone listened, Lucy and Embit had their face pressed against the glass and watched in awe. She reached into her bag and rubbed the disc containing Whimpor and smiled.

Thane glanced over and grimaced slightly. The whole process of Cybernetic Loomians and Enhancements was creepy and unnatural to him. How did this technology even work?

"The process begins in an assembly line like this." Lidia began. "Parts of the Loomian's body are constructed and put together. Then, they are fine-tuned. Lastly, they are imbued with soul crystals, giving them life."

Thane raised his hand and Lidia pointed at him. "Yes?" "Soul Crystals? Like the ones that power Silvent City and the special Battle Theatre apps?" Lidia nodded. "Yes, Soul Crystals can be used to power giant metropolitan centers and Loomiwatches with clean energy. But there are so many other uses for them. They are used to give life to our Loomians, they are used to power our life-changing and life-saving Cybernetic Enhancements. There is some evidence that in the past, Soul Crystals unlocked the hidden potential of both humans and Loomians, granting them heightened and new abilities, even extended life."
