The afternoon sunlight blinded Thane as he stepped outside the Battle Theatre. He looked around and blinked, waiting for his eyes to adjust. As he was ready to leave, Thane's LoomiWatch rang, and he looked down. It was his mother calling. A grin spread across his face as he picked up the call. "Mom!" Thane greeted and Lauren smiled. "Thane, Embit, congratulations on your victory! I knew you guys could do it!" Lauren congratulated and Thane and his partner beamed. "So, where to next?" Lauren asked. Thane shrugged. "I don't know, has Dad and Derrick found anything?" Lauren's lip tightened into a line. "Nothing yet, but we'll update you when we have an update. For now, just head to Heiwa Village. That's where the second Battle Theatre is located." Lauren informed. Thane nodded. "Alright, thanks, Mom. I love you." Lauren smiled. "I love you too." Then, they ended the call.
It took a while before Thane reached Galvanite Cave as he stopped at the Trainer Station to heal up his Loomians. When he finally did arrive at Galvanite Cave, he recognized one of the workers, and he recognized him. "Hey, you're that kid!" He exclaimed to which Thane nodded. "Yeah, thanks for the assist with that guy. Naya's inside." He said while pointing to the entrance of a smaller cavern. Thane nodded and thanked him before walking past and into the cavern.
"Wow..." Thane marveled. The entire cavern had a beautiful green and orange hue thanks to the crystals littering the place. In the center of the cave, there sat a small green crystal on a pedestal made from natural rock. Above it, hung a larger green crystal like a chandelier. "It's beautiful isn't it?" Naya commented as she stood in front of the smaller crystal admiring it. "Come Thane." Thane did as he was told and went to stand next to Naya, trying not to fiddle with his fingers.
Naya let out a long sigh of contentment and admiration as she looked at the crystals. "This cavern is at the heart of a powerful energy source whose veins run throughout southern Roria. At the center of it all is the giant crystalline structure you see hanging from the ceiling." She explained and Thane looked up at the crystal that seemed to pulse with power. "How much energy?" Thane asked as he eyed the crystal and thought back to the strange boy. "More than a hundred times more powerful than the other crystals you see being processed in Silvent City. It takes a small fraction of the crystal's energy to support your new watch upgrades permanently." "Wow..." Thane and Embit marveled, but Naya was too wrapped up in her explanation. "It's the purest formation of the power-surged minerals running through the ground. Very slowly, minerals drop down to form a smaller, but still highly concentrated crystal formation."
Finally, Naya turned to him. "Now, if you'll allow me, I will upgrade your LoomiWatch." Thane took off his watch and quickly handed it over to the Battle Star. With quick hand movements that showed skill and experience, Naya slipped a small piece of green crystal into the LoomiWatch's power supply and clicked the screen a few times. Just as quickly as he handed the watch over, it was back in Thane's hand, and he stared down at it. "There, Stunning Flash has been installed on your watch. And with the energy source upgraded, you'll be able to enhance your watch even more with each victory you gain against Roria's other Battle Stars." Thane looked down at his watch before looking up at Naya with gratitude. "Thank you, Mrs. Naya!" Naya smiled down at the boy. "No problem kid, now let's head back. Being a Battle Star is a demanding job, and I'm sure you have placed to be."
After returning to the city, Thane and Naya parted ways with Naya heading back to the Battle Theatre and Thane heading back to the Trainer Station. After packing up his belongings, Thane thanked the nurse before leaving and making his way to the Route 4 gate. As he walked through the gate, Thane pulled up his Navigation App on his LoomiWatch and pulled up the Route 4 page. The Route was filled with giant mushrooms that lit up the route with light and some even possessed healing properties. The Loomian inhabitants included Slugling, Twilat, Geklow, Kubunga, and Shawchi. There was also a small village known as Kanoko Village further in the route.
