I stood there with both of my hands on my waist. The sun is already out and shining. This is not the kind of day I expected. "I told you, guys, na umakyat muna kayo." reklamo ko almost wanting to stomp my feet.

"No. Hindi, nagugutom na kami."

"Hindi pa kaya ako naliligo! This is so unfair!" reklamo ko ulit sa kanila. They just laughed at me though?

Well, just like the old times way back in college.. Ate Ly, Ate Ells, and Ate Den came to pick me up and didn't even let me take a bath.

"It's almost lunch time na, Bei, and hindi namin kasalanang hindi ka pa naliligo! You always blame it on us--"

I stopped and faced them. "Excuse me? It's our day off, I should be in bed until 1pm and getting more sleep pero you are here with the unplanned lunch? Magkakasama tayo last night and you, guys, did not even bother telling me about today? Unbelievable!"

Tinawanan lang ulit nila ako at hinila na para maglakad ulit. Ate Ly clung her arms to mine. "Kasi you always sleep kapag ganitong wala tayong training. It's not giving kaya!"

Sinimangutan ko lang si ate Ly. "Isa pa 'tong si ate Ells, kaya 'yan siya may time because Jema has training. Hindi naman siya sumasama talaga!"

"You're so mareklamo and so daldal today, Bei. Can you just accept na lang na we missed you kaya we're here?"

For the past two weeks, I've been really taking care of myself most specially my wellbeing. Hindi rin naman totoo na palagi akong tulog kasi minsan umuuwi ako to visit our stable. Dad informed me rin that there's another race coming this weekend. Malay natin if manalo ulit si Bell?

"I'm glad na nakabisita ulit kayo, Alyssa."

"Oo nga po, tito. Sobrang busy na kasi talaga sa training namin lalo na Tots and Jema will not be playing this incoming conference po."

"I know, I've heard. Kaya nga sinasabihan ko 'tong si Bea na okay lang kahit hindi muna siya makauwi dahil ako naman ang bahala dito kay Bell para mas makapagfocus siya sa training niyo."

Dad let us go rin naman agad. He's going to visit our stable today and I wanted to come pero biglaang nandito ulit silang tatlo. Halos noong nakaraang araw lang pinuntahan nila ako sa condo ko at hinilang maglunch kahit wala pa akong ligo.

"You, guys, are being extra clingy lately." pansin ko sa kanila bago ilapag ang isang tray ng nachos and fries that manang prepared.

I watched ate Ly zipped her mouth at itinuro si ate Ella. "Do you have a beer, Bei? Parang gusto kong uminom."

"Kayo na lang muna, pass muna ako. Wala sa plan ko today ang mag-inom." ate Den said habang pinapakita ang phone niya at tinuturo ang lockscreen niya. I get it. Unlike the three of us, we're all single. Single in civil status, okay?

But..

Single pa rin naman ako civil status man or relationship status.
