"Pizza, anyone?" I raised the four boxes of pizzas I ordered and our friends clapped like it's gonna be the most decent meal they will ever have for today.

Our friends started to get their slice of pizzas and began drinking. "Buti na lang nagkaayos kaagad kayo.. Hindi ako sanay na hindi kayo nag-iimikan."

Cait laughed at Thang. I enjoy seeing or watching them like this.. They are more than friends to me, they are like family. And I appreciate them sharing the same feeling as mine.

"Next time, talk it out first. There's a lot to lose with miscommunication, you know." paalala naman ni Deanna. I get where she's coming from so I tapped her shoulder.

"Enough muna about us ni Darling.. What about you, Deanna? How's it going with Ivy?"

She shrugged at my question. "We're doing fine naman, I guess?"

"Are you sure it's not.."

"Ate Bei, I've thought about this countless times.. I love Ivy, I really do. But I can't deny the fact that there are people who insist that I am not yet over Jema. I'm getting tired of people dictating my feelings and I'm afraid that it might discourage Ivy."

"Are you really done with Jema?"

Deanna looked carefully at Caitlin. "Matagal ko nang tinanggap na wala na kami. Jema is happy now.. Masaya na rin naman ako."

"Then let them think what they want to think. Ang mahalaga naman hindi mo nakakalimutang iparamdam kay Ivy palagi na mahal mo siya. Security and all, 'di ba?"

"Yeah. And Ivy's tough." hindi mapigilang oag-ngisi nito.

"And Deanna, alam ko na you still care and worry about Jema but let me assure you that she's in good hands with ate Ells. They bring out the best in each other, saksi kami ni ate Ly doon. Isa pa, ate Ella is a good person and I know she won't do anything to hurt her."

Deanna took a few shots before she nodded. "I know.. I know. I really hope na people would stop connecting our names to each other. It's disrespectful sa part ng mga partners namin."

The night filled with Thang's stories about planning her proposal with her long time partner too. My heart sank with happiness with every details she's given. The love was very evident in her eyes.. and I secretly hoped for Cait and I na umabot kami sa ganitong point ng buhay namin. Me planning for my wedding proposal or preparing engagement party.. preparing our own wedding.

"How'd you know na she's the one na? Kasi you're so sure.. Grabe! Iniisip ko pa lang na magpopropose sa akin si Jan baka mag-freak out na 'ko!"

Tinawanan naman agad ni Thang si Bel. "Akala mo naman ready si Jan magkaroon ng wife na mas maton pa sa kanya!"

I facepalmed.. Hindi talaga dadaan ng isang araw na hindi sila nagbabardagulan na dalawa. Ikaw na lang talaga susuko sa kanila, eh. But they make life happier.. They make my days happier.
