"Hindi kayo nagpapansinan ni Deanna?"
Cait rolled her eyes and then pinakita niya yung dala niyang coffee. "I forgot to buy her coffee."
I smirked. Talaga namang magtatampo 'yon kasi routine na niyang bilhan si Deanna ng kape tapos biglang ngayon wala siyang dala. "Your fault, love."
Siniko naman niya ako tapos sinimangutan. "Ikaw kasi, nagmamadali ka. Excited ka naman masyado--"
"Love." pagpapatigil ko dito. Kita ko naman kung paano siya nagpigil sa pagngiti.
"Oo na. Sunod ka na lang mamaya sa loob, ha?"
Tumango ako. "Tell Deanna to save me a seat, okay?"
"Ako na nga.. Bakit si Deanna pa? 'Kala mo naman, eh.."
I tried to hide my smile and then nodded. "I'll see you later, love.." pagpapaalam ko sa kanya.
"See you, love.."
Tinanggal ko ang seatbelt niya and leaned forward to kiss her forehead. "'Wag ka ng bumaba, ako na lang.."
I let out a laugh. "Okay, then.."
She waved at me before opening the door and walked straight towards our friends. I have to look for a place to park my car and look for Mac. I promised him an interview with Jho. Well, people has been asking him for a JhoBea interview.. and he has this platform on Twitter They Write, Too which he interviews volleyball players as per fans requests and create a merch for them.
"Who's that?" Cait curiously asked while she's putting some moisturizer on her face.
"Ah.. It's Bengga. He's asking for an interview."
"When daw?"
I shrugged. "After this conference. But I.. uhm.. haven't confirmed it pa."
She finished what she's doing and came to bed. I smiled at her with excitement.. Evenings are always the best time of the day 'cause I get to hold her close beside me.
"Why naman? Go mo na 'yon.."
Umiling ako. "So.. here's the thing, love. He wants to do an interview with me and Jho."
She only stared at me and then furrowed her brows. "Oh? Ano naman ngayon? Why? Are you uncomfortable?" medyo masungit nitong tanong.
It felt like the ac just turned off.. I felt cold sweats on my forehead. "A-ano.. Hindi naman. Uhm.. Siyempre, I just want to let you know first. I have no reason to feel uncomfortable around her anymore. Ikaw ang iniisip ko, love. I also want you to be comfortable with every decisions that I make."
She took a deep breath and cupped my face. "I have no reason to be upset or uncomfortable with that naman na.. Ikaw rin naman ang iniisip ko, eh. I don't want you to remember the pain you've endured for a very long period of time."
