I really thought that night would be the end.. I was scared. Really scared. We were having this intimate moment and then she just walked out? Imagine the kaba I felt that moment! Tsk.. Luckily, I finally got to hear her 'yes'.

Truth be told, it was the first time I asked someone to be my girlfriend, actually.. And that was the very first time I've heard the word 'yes'. For the first time, I felt like I wasn't rejected. Cait will be my last. I'm sure of it.. I'm gonna make sure of it.

A finger snapped in front of me. "Hey.."

"Huh? You were saying?"

He smiled. "I was asking you if how long are you staying? A week?"

Huh? A week? No way! I don't want to be gone for too long. Few seconds pa lang na hindi ko nakikita si Cait, miss ko na agad siya.

"No. I'll be staying for three days lang. I still got a lot of readings to do."

Tumango naman siya. "Well, three days.. Hmm. We have a game tonight and sa isamg araw. Pwede tayong mamasyal bukas, if you want."

Ngumiti ako sa kanya. "Wow, ikaw na ngayon ang tour guide ko." I even laugh. "Okay, then. I-tour mo 'ko around this town."

"Nice. I have a list here where to go, don't worry hindi tayo mawawala."

He parked the car and tinulungan pa niya akong magbaba ng luggage ko. "Thank you."

"I'll pick you up later, ha? Just rest muna."

I chose to stay at a hotel near the arena where they're going to play. Tita Mozzy insisted that I should stay at Thirdy's place but I declined. That's a hell 'no'.

I looked at the clock. I still have four hours to rest. The game is at 6pm.. I wonder if Cait's enjoying her trip to Cebu? It's 2pm now, Japan is just one hour ahead of Philippine time. I wanted to facetime her but I know that I should give her the time and space for herself and with her friends.

There are too many people who came to watch this match. And I am happy to see Thirdy to fulfill his dreams. He already gathered fans in just a span of time. He truly is a gem in basketball and I'm glad that they acknowledge his potential. He's already a monster way back UAAP days and now, he's more than a monster.

"Did you enjoy the match?"

"Oh, yes, I did po."

"It's so really nice to watch this game with you, Bea."

"Pleasure is all mine po. Thank you for accommodating me all throughout the game."

I thanked the group that Thirdy left me with. It's his fans club, a mixed of Pinoys and Nihonjin. The one I talked to earlier was Auntie Beth.
